An Idea Stage Competition (4th Edition) organised by Mizoram Startup Mission, Planning and Programme Implementation Department during 4-19 Sept 2025. Winners of Mizoram Kailawn will received ₹ 1,00,000 for seed fund.

From 13th–15th January 2026, Angel Business Promoters of Mizoram (ABPM) and the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) conducted a joint monitoring and inspection visit to Sangau FPO, Bungtlang South FPO and Kamalanagar FPO. The programme was led by ABPM Project Officer Mr. Lalrimawia and, from NCDC, Assistant Director Mr. K.G. Hitesh Kewal Ramani and Young Professional Mr. Dominic Zosangliana. The team reviewed governance, business performance, assets and financial records, interacted with the Boards, CEOs, accountant and members, inspected offices and infrastructure. They provided on-the-spot guidance on statutory compliance, record keeping, financial discipline, business planning and strengthening market and credit linkages. At each FPO, specific suggestions were given to improve member participation, diversify business activities and make better use of assets created under NCDC support. The findings and recommendations from this mission will feed into a formal report and follow-up support plan for all three FPOs.

The Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee (PMIC) meeting for Hrangturzo Farmer Producer Company (FPC) was successfully conducted at North Vanlaiphai on 1st December 2025. The meeting aimed to review the progress of ongoing activities, assess implementation challenges, and plan the next steps for strengthening the FPC’s operational performance.

The session was attended by Mr. Sanjay Mandhata, District Development Manager, Serchhip, representing NABARD Regional Office, Aizawl, who provided valuable guidance and feedback to the FPC.

From Angel Business Promoters, Mr. Joshua Lalrinawma, Project Officer, accompanied Mr. Reshi Raj Tamang, CEO of Hrangturzo FPC, and Mr. Lalbiakmawia, CEO of Sangau Block FPO, ensuring coordinated support for the meeting proceedings.

A total of five Board Members of Hrangturzo FPC participated, contributing to key discussions and decision-making during the PMIC.
