Elixir - An Initiative by the Indira Gandhi NSS Awardees i.e National Youth Awardees to ubiquitously enhance lives for a better society. are the major ones.

Today, our society is suffering from a plethora of negative influences that are dragging our nation's progress. Poverty, Unemployment, Over-Population, illiteracy etc. There are efforts being done in the areas to curb the above mentioned concerns but more initiatives need to be taken especially by the youth of the country. Elixir is a step to ubiquitously, in every area do small and big deeds and deal with the concerns in our own smaller ways. Vision:

To work Omni presently in every area, that our country is backward in, and hence create a seamlessly integrated environment for the hand-in-hand development of the country. Objectives:

•To raise the financial and educational standard of the needy and to erase the caste and class discrimination in the society.

•To deal with the issues related to serious and infectious health problems among the backward

•To curb the social and criminal problems in the society by dealing with them on psychological grounds

•To train the youth in micro and macro enterprises so as to generate skilled employees for the society

•To promote 'Make in India' dedicatedly and to adopt it on grass root levels

•To boost innovations among the youth by solving their financial aspects by the way of low interest loans

•To spread the awareness regarding common laws and human rights among the people

•To spread cognizance about the duties of a citizen towards the country among the people

•To practically implement the concept of 'Women Empowerment'.

Through the Helmet Distribution Campaign as part of Gujarat’s Largest Road Safety Campaign, Elixir Foundation and Truhome Finance in partnership with Gujarat Police is taking a step towards building a stronger culture of responsible and safe riding across Gujarat.

With 5,280 helmets distributed across Ahmedabad, Surat and Rajkot, the campaign focuses on reaching riders who need protection the most while reinforcing a simple but powerful message: Wear a helmet. Ride responsibly. Reach home safely.

From awareness sessions with police personnel and riders to on-ground helmet distribution, the campaign brings together corporate responsibility, community action and law enforcement to make Gujarat’s roads safer.

Because every helmet represents more than safety gear it represents a life protected and a family waiting at home.

As part of Gujarat’s largest road safety campaign, Elixir Foundation, Truhome Finance, Gujarat Youth Forum and Ahmedabad Police joined hands to take road safety awareness into educational institutions across Ahmedabad.

Two-wheelers make up 75-80% of all registered vehicles in Gujarat, and 38% of the state’s youth rely on them as their primary mode of transport. With young riders forming such a critical part of this landscape, the initiative focuses on building safer road habits early promoting helmet use, responsible riding, traffic discipline, and the importance of making every journey a safe one.

Through interactive awareness sessions, 575 students across Gujarat Arts College, CN Fine Arts College, and KN University were encouraged to become responsible riders and road-safety ambassadors, helping create a culture of safety that extends beyond campuses and into communities.

Because road safety is not just about following rules. It is about protecting lives.

Some learning experiences leave an impact long after they conclude.
Over the course of a four-week journey, the teams of Elixir and BRICS Youth Alliance had the privilege of participating in Yes to Life, a transformative programme by The Happyness Formula, facilitated by Vikas Perla.
A Special thanks to Aerolance for hosting Vikas Perla in Ahmedabad.
Each session created a space for reflection, meaningful dialogue, and practical learning. We explored the importance of gratitude, self-awareness, active listening, empathy, clear communication, and respecting diverse perspectives. Through simple yet powerful practices, from happiness tools and affirmations to activity management and intentional goal-setting, we were encouraged to look within, recognising that sustainable growth begins with the individual.
One of the programme’s most valuable insights was that stronger teams are built when individuals are willing to grow together. By making expectations explicit, choosing understanding over judgement, and embracing a positive, solution-oriented mindset, we discovered that collaboration becomes more authentic and impactful.
The lessons from Yes to Life have extended well beyond the sessions themselves. They continue to influence the way we communicate, collaborate, and lead, serving as a reminder that meaningful leadership is rooted in self-awareness, compassion, and purpose.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Vikas Perla and The Happyness Formula for designing a truly enriching experience. Thank you for inspiring our teams to embrace continuous learning, intentional growth, and a deeper understanding of both ourselves and one another.
