A recent stay in Bakutra village with SEWA members Gauriben and Shantiben revealed a beautiful and authentic side of Ahir community.Watching the women create beautifully detailed embroidery was inspiring, but listening to their stories was even more moving.

From a young age, artisans learn intricate stitches, each pattern carrying its own name, meaning, and generations of cultural heritage. Their craft and stories reflected the pride and skill behind each piece.
