To promote and establish the same in Maninagar our senior predecessors put a proposal to Maninagar public, proposal got wide appreciation and support. Finally it has taken shape and Durga Puja started at Maninagar in year 1971. As years passed it took a big shape with name and fame too. A Durga Puja Celebration Committee, Maninagar is formed for smooth ongoing of festival. This very committee with
philanthropic idea with social services view established Durga Charitable Trust in the year 1995. The main idea, thought, determination and objective of establishment to offer opportunities and render service to poor, needy, downtrodden people of the society. This is an achievement of the committee. Trust has wide range of philanthropic and social services. The area covered in Education, Medical and matrimonial services. Our track record of services highly appreciated and praised by mass. Well wishers , philanthropists and good Samaritans of society extended their helping hands with donations and sponsorships.
