Association of Indus Metallurgical Engineering Students AIMES is the first student body to be introduced at IITE, which is also registered under the Charity Commissioner of Ahmedabad.

AIMES:
Started in 2009 by the first final year batch of Metallurgical and Material Engineering department students. The Constitution was approved in the general body on 17th Feb 2009. 'AIMES' is the first student body to be introduced at the Indus Institute of Technology & Engineering Campus. The Organization is also registered under the charity commissioner of Ahmedabad.
