For Mohit Ostwal, building a career was never just about finding a job, it was about creating a better future for himself and his family.
Raised in a middle-class family, Mohit grew up understanding the importance of education and financial stability. He enrolled in an IT course with hopes of entering the technology industry, but as the field expanded rapidly, he found himself uncertain about which path to pursue. With no exposure to emerging careers like Cyber Security and limited guidance, choosing the right specialization felt overwhelming.
His turning point came when he visited Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC).
Rather than simply recommending a course, the ASDC team first understood his aspirations and guided him towards Cyber Security, a field he had never seriously considered but one that matched both his interests and industry demand. For Mohit, it was the first time his ambition was matched with a clear direction.
Joining ASDC's three-month Cyber Security program, he started with almost no knowledge of the field. Through hands-on technical training, industry-relevant learning, and continuous mentoring, he built a strong foundation in Cyber Security. Equally valuable were the Centre's soft skills and presentation sessions, which helped him overcome stage fear, strengthen his communication skills, and develop the confidence to face interviews.
With ASDC's placement support and interview preparation, Mohit received opportunities from multiple companies. The defining moment came while he was waiting at a traffic signal, his phone rang with the news that he had been selected for a Cyber Security role.
Today, that opportunity has become the foundation of a new beginning. Beyond financial independence, it has given Mohit the confidence to pursue bigger aspirations and the ability to contribute towards his family's future.
