📚 What can a 19th-century classic novella teach us about suffering, dying, and the essence of compassionate care!

Leo Tolstoy’s 'The Death of Ivan Ilyich' remains one of the most profound explorations of mortality ever written.

In this thought-provoking article, Ms Keshav Sharma (Director, Psychosocial Services, CanSupport, Delhi) explores how Ivan’s journey mirrors the challenges faced by patients today and why this literary masterpiece continues to offer valuable lessons for palliative care professionals about death, suffering, empathy, and end-of-life care.

Whether you are a clinician, student, caregiver, or simply someone interested in the human experience, this is a compelling and though provoking read!
