Over the past weeks, we’ve witnessed how women, when given the right opportunities, rise beyond challenges—becoming leaders, changemakers, and pillars of their communities. From building livelihoods to driving change in their villages, communities , each story has been a reminder of the immense strength and potential within every woman.
Through the efforts of Cohesion FoundationTrust , these journeys are not just stories—they are steps toward a more inclusive and empowered future.

"World Water Day 2026 | Save Water, Secure Future"

Cohesion Foundation Trust , Patan, with support from Reliance Foundation celebrated World Water Day on 19–20 March 2026 across 32 villages, engaging 1062 participants including project officials, local leaders, and community members.

The initiative focused on raising awareness about water conservation through village meetings, rallies, and impactful slogans. Communities also actively cleaned and maintained ponds, riverbanks, streets, temples, and water storage areas to protect vital resources.

Key activities in Nana (19 March) and Jasalpur (20 March) showcased strong community participation and ownership.

Cohesion Foundation Team of South Gujarat participated in a dialogue with Dr. from the NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION Delhi, along with district-level officials from Valsad Gujarat .The discussion focused on challenges in implementing constitutional values for tribal communities.

Key field-level issues were shared, along with practical suggestions based on the experiences of local CSOs. The dialogue emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and NGOs to strengthen access to rights and improve last-mile delivery. CFT also presented its concerns and recommendations based on field learnings.

Cohesion Foundation Trust conducted a special training session for fathers on Sunday (22nd March) under HCLFoundation supported program in GB Nagar district of UP.The session was conducted by renowned child rights expert Ms.
The session aimed to strengthen fathers’ understanding and capacity around key aspects of parenting and child well-being. It covered important topics such as child protection, positive and responsive parenting, and the importance of spending quality time with children.
Fathers were also educated about safe and unsafe touch, and encouraged to maintain regular communication with AWWs and teachers to support their children’s growth and safety.
The session was interactive and insightful, empowering fathers to play a more active and informed role in their children’s lives.

Cohesion Foundation Trust joyfully celebrated Eid at AWCs under HCLFoundation supported program at GB Nagar district of UP ,with the children through a variety of engaging and meaningful activities. The day was filled with creativity as children participated in colouring and drawing, expressing their excitement and understanding of the festival in their own unique ways.
The celebration became even more special with a traditional dastarkhan, where everyone came together to share a festive meal. Parents contributed lovingly by bringing homemade sheerkurma, adding warmth and a sense of community, unity, and togetherness to the occasion. The children thoroughly enjoyed the feast, making the moment both memorable and culturally enriching.

Such celebrations not only bring happiness but also help children learn about traditions, unity, sharing, and mutual respect. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of belonging.

The two-day training program was conducted recently to strengthen the capacity of Anganwadi Workers under our HCLFoundation supported program in Bisrakh block of GB nagar district of UP, in fostering foundational numeracy and early language skills among young children at Anganwadi Centres . The training focused on the use of play-based, interactive, and child-centered teaching methodologies that help keep children actively engaged in the learning process.

Participants were introduced to a variety of hands-on activities, games, storytelling methods, rhymes, and group exercises that promote experiential learning. Special emphasis was placed on helping children develop an understanding of numbers, counting, and basic mathematical concepts through everyday experiences and playful exploration.

In the area of language development, the training highlighted strategies to build emergent literacy, including vocabulary development, listening and speaking skills, pre-reading and pre-writing abilities, and the use of stories and local context to make learning meaningful.

The program also encouraged AWWs to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment, use locally available resources, and adapt activities according to the developmental needs of children. By the end of the training, AWWs were better equipped with practical tools and techniques to support holistic early childhood development in an engaging and effective manner.
