NDBI is delighted to share a proud moment as our incubated startup, Unnati Adaptive Devices Pvt. Ltd., led by founder Neha Solanki, has been honoured with the prestigious Grassroots Innovator Recognition 2026 for its impactful innovation, Buddy Chair.
Presented by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the recognition by the Hon’ble President of India celebrates innovation that addresses real-world challenges and improves lives.
Buddy Chair is an affordable, colorful, and clinically designed adaptive seating solution for children aged 4–13 years with cerebral palsy and other special needs. It is designed to improve posture and participation, support therapy and daily activities, and make life more comfortable and convenient for both children and caregivers.
This recognition is a testament to how purpose-driven innovation can create meaningful change in everyday lives.
