Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process. Yi was formed in the year 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realise the dream of a developed nation. Yi has around 1727 direct members in 37 ch

apters, and engages around 10500 students through chaupals, under the brand ‘Yuva’. The Yi membership includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21 & 40 and comprises entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life. "To become the Voice of Young Indians Globally" being the vision of Yi, it provides a platform for young Indians to participate in and contribute by becoming an integral part of the Indian growth story. Yi's work is divided primarily into three groups; "Youth Leadership", "Nation Building” and “International Engagements”.

An evening of meaningful conversations, inspiring experiences and valuable insights.

Our Fireside Chat, *"From Legacy to Leadership: The Evolution of a Family Business"*, brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders and aspiring changemakers for an engaging discussion on preserving legacy while embracing the future.

A heartfelt thank you to *Janmejay Gandhi, Promoter Director, Vadilal Industries* for sharing his inspiring journey and valuable perspectives and to *Pravit Parikh, Director, Pima Controls* for expertly moderating an insightful conversation that resonated with everyone in the room.

What an incredible , power-packed two days it has been! Yi Ahmedabad has successfully concluded the Young Indian Parliament 2026 (27th & 28th June), leaving an indelible mark on 120 dynamic student delegates who stepped up to lead, debate and deliberate. 🏛️✨

✨ Day 2: Debates & Nation Building

Fiery Discussions: The energy escalated with an active Zero Hour and open debate sessions, where the youth showcased brilliant critical thinking. 🗣️

Words That Inspired: We were honoured to welcome Mr. Vinod Agarwal, Past Chairman, CII State Council, who shared his valuable insights on leadership and nation-building and Dr. Hemang Joshi, Member of Parliament, Vadodara Constituency, whose stirring speech inspired students to become responsible citizens. He also engaged in an insightful Q&A session, thoughtfully addressing students questions on current government policies and national issues.

Their insightful messages and words of wisdom left everyone present profoundly inspired, encouraging the youth to lead with purpose and responsibility.

The Grand Finale: The event concluded with final bill presentations and a prestigious Valedictory Session where the winning delegates were celebrated! 🏆🎉

Over the two-day event, YIP 2026 successfully sparked immense motivation, leadership, and a shared vision to build the future leaders of the next generation.

We are delighted to share the successful inauguration of Young Indian Parliament 2026, held on 27th June 2026. 🏛️✨

The event commenced with great enthusiasm as 120 bright and aspiring students stepped into the roles of parliamentarians, experiencing the values of democracy, leadership and responsible decision-making.

✨ Day 1 Highlights

🏛️ Inspiring Inaugural Session
We were privileged to welcome Mr. Sanjay Raval, renowned motivational speaker and entrepreneur, as our Chief Guest. Through his inspiring address, he encouraged students to make the best use of their time, embrace leadership with purpose and always give their very best in every opportunity.

🗳️ Democracy in Action

Day 1 began with the Opening Speeches, setting the tone for an engaging and insightful parliamentary session. Participants actively took part in the Question Hour, were introduced to the Committee Structure and engaged in Bill Drafting, gaining valuable firsthand insight into the legislative process. The day also featured the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, allowing students to experience parliamentary procedures through nominations, voting and leadership appointments.

We were also honored by the presence of Mr. Punit Singhal, Regional Mentor for Thalir, whose encouragement added to the significance of the occasion.

Young Indian Parliament 2026 has begun on a remarkable note, empowering young minds to think critically, lead responsibly and shape the future of our nation.
