Cleanliness is not the duty of one community — it is the responsibility of us all. ✨
As part of the Garima Programme, Janvikas successfully organized a community cleanliness drive at Malav Talav, Thaltej. The campaign was designed to break stereotypes, uphold the dignity of cleaning workers, and inspire citizens to take pride in collective action.
A heartfelt thank you to Himali Trivedi for designing and leading this meaningful campaign, to Youth For Seva for their strong support, to the artists from MP Art Lovers who performed a thoughtful drama on cleanliness, and to Team AMC for their cooperation. Gratitude also to all the volunteers from St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad, India, councilors, community members, and partners who stood together to make this drive a success.

Bridgestone India’s 3rd Mobility Social Impact Awards were recently concluded, applauding the innovative solutions focused on community service through mobility. The themes for this year’s awards were Road Safety, Increase Access to Resources and Mobility for Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups.

We are proud to share that Janvikas - Driverben program  have won the prestigious " Bridgestone India’s 3rd Mobility Social Impact Awards" for the year 2023 under them of "Mobility for Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups". This recognition is a result of the unwavering dedication and hard work of our teams towards furthering our vision of "Women Empowerment through Skill training program" and creating a more world.

JANVIKAS won Prestigious National Level Award: ISC-FICCI Sanitation Awards-2023

We are delighted to share the news that Janvikas has received a prestigious national award: ISC-FICCI Sanitation Awards 2023 under Category 2: Best Non- Profit Engagement Model in Sanitation (Urban).

Janvikas has received the award for its Garima Programme focusing on eradication of manual scavenging and its emphasis on empowering the sanitation community by nurturing leadership and reinforcing community-based organizations (CBOs) led by community leaders.

The team of Janvikas proudly accepted the award from Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai, Chair of India Sanitation Coalition, and Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, Former Director General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and Chair of the Award Jury on 20th November-2023 at New Delhi – India.

Proud to be a part of the Women empowerment initiative where our Driverbens have gained an opportunity to work with Baton Transport A/S based in Europe. Driverbens will be driving trucks in Eastern European Countries.
As an aim to empower women, Baton Transport with Vega Group of India have opened a doorway for women drivers of India to drive trucks in Europe.

Feeling immensely happy to announce that First group 7 Women Drivers from Janvikas (Driverben Program) of Gujarat have given interview and are selected for the great opportunity.

Janvikas has been working on important issues like human rights and women empowerment in Ahmedabad for the past 35 years, celebrated the International Women's Day program under the theme “Hamara Kam Hamari Pehachan” along with another charitable organization called Aajeevika Bureau on Sunday 05/03/2023. For creating awareness for the women, rally started with songs and slogans followed by a cultural programme by beneficiaries of Janvikas. In which Vijay Parmar and Kirti Joshi of Janvikas gave an encouraging speech and Ms. Salooni from Aajeevika Bureau gave information about Women's Day celebration. The Women's Day rally was used to highlight the work of women-led organizations and groups that are working towards improving the lives of women.
