The world has changed and so has the BPA from traditional trades like weaving, re-caning, chalk making. The blind are now operating computers, surfing the web, doing telemarketing of products and services. People with disabilities are mobile on their tricycles and three wheeler scooters!! Artificial limbs provided to persons with amputation are of international quality and yet the cons

umer gets it free………………. BPA is forging new alliances – it is taking over the management of the Jeet Mehta School for Children with Mental Re****ed children. It is starting two Primary schools – one each at Bavla and Naaz – where non-disabled and disabled children will study together in inclusive settings. BPA continues to be a single window services for people with disabilities.

Ratnamani Foundation Rehabilitation Day Care Centre for Children and Persons with Disabilities was inaugurated by Shri Pravin Bhai Mali, Minister of Forest & Environment in the presence of Mavjibhai Desai, MLA.
Thanks to Shri Prakash Bhai and Shri Jayantibhai Sanghvi, promoters of Ratnamani Foundation. Spacefor the Centre has been generously provided by Shri Shailesh Shah of Shah Ramchandra Swarajbhai General Hospital. BPA also distributed 56 assistive devices among Divyangjan.

Mr Naishad Parekh, a trusted donor of BPA paid tributes to his late wife, Smt Smitaben by donating 12 sewing machines and 2 beauty parlour kits to need women with disability. He believes empowering with disabilies and making them enconomically independant is the best way of celebrating birthday of his wife. The whole credit of motivating Naishad Bhai to support BPA goes to Late Smitaben who brought him to BPA for this purpose.

Inductotherm Ltd has sponsored a Bus under Corporate Social Responsibility for plying patients to our Porecha Eye Hospital . This bus was dedicated by Shri Naishad Parikh, CEO, Inductotherm. The company has been extended very generous support for cataract surgeries and Corneal Transplant at Bareja Eye Hospital. It has also extended support fot running recording studios at the Central Jails at Ahmedabad and Vodadara for recording of audo books for the benefit of blind students. This is the first time in the country that audio books for blind students are being recorded by the inmates of Central Jails.
