એશિયા ના માલધારી બહેનો ના ઘોષણાપત્ર ના લોન્ચ નો કાર્યક્રમ નડાબેટ ખાતે મારગ અને માલધારી મહિલા સંગઠન ના ઉપક્રમે તેમજ સીટીજન સહયોગ sathe નડાબેટ ખાતે રાખવામાં આવ્યો.આ કાર્યક્રમ માં ખાસ તો ધરાતલ ના બહેનો સ્ટેજ પર આવી પોતાની વાત મૂકી જે ઉડી ને આંખે વળગે તેમજ તેમની આગવી શૈલી અને કાર્યક્રમ માં તેમની નેતાગીરી જોઈ હરખ થયો.

બાસ્પા ગામમાં માલધારી વિકાસ સંગઠન અને મારગ સંસ્થાના સહયોગથી માલધારી યુવાનોની એક દિવસીય શિબિરનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું. જેમાં સમી, શંખેશ્વર અને હારીજ તાલુકાના 125 યુવાનો જોડાયા. આ શિબિરમાં વિવિધ મુદ્દાઓ પર ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી. સાથે સાથે સંગઠન નિર્માણ તથા જમીન સંબંધિત વિવિધ પ્રશ્નોમાં સંગઠનની ભૂમિકા અને કામગીરી અંગે વિગતે વાત કરવામાં આવી. આ ચર્ચા ખૂબ રસપ્રદ રહી અને આગળની રણનીતિ પણ ઘડવામાં આવી.

In December of 2010, women pastoralists representing 32 countries gathered in Mera, Gujarat. They pledged to live a sustainable life, be the protectors of biodiversity, and share and use the resources judiciously. The women joined alliances to voice their needs and call on various governing bodies to protect their rights, ensure access to their resources and traditional land, adapt, develop. This formed the Mera Declaration.

In the last 15 years, these women pastoralists have held up their pledge and showed unwavering commitment to the adoption of the declaration. Considering the change in climate and a rise in climate related problems over the years, the community leaders have felt the need to revisit the declaration to accommodate these changes and make it more inclusive.

Join us on the 10th of December, 2025 on the 15th Anniversary of the Mera Declaration, where 130+ women pastoralists representing 7 countries will gather to revisit and rework this declaration. This day also marks the official launch of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists and will be joined by multiple international organisations, research institutions and government bodies in an attempt to officially adopt the Mera Declaration.

ગુજરાતના રાજ્ય કક્ષાના મહિલા અને બાળ કલ્યાણ ના મંત્રી શ્રી ડો મનીષાબેન વકીલને મળીને મારગ સંસ્થા વતી આવનારા એશિયાના માલધારી બહેનોના સંમેલન માટે ભાવભર્યું આમંત્રણ આપવામાં આવ્યું.

Marking 15 years of the MERA Declaration from Global Gathering of Pastoralist women back in 2010 and the Asia-level launch of the International Year of Rangelands & Pastoralists (IYRP 2026).

The gathering will convene 150+ pastoralist women leaders, government representatives, researchers, development practitioners, and partners from across Asia—including India, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Tibet.

રાપર વિસ્તારમાં મારગ સંસ્થાના દ્વારા શાળામાં ન જતાં અથવા અનિયમિત હાજરી ધરાવતા બાળકોને ફરીથી શિક્ષણ સાથે જોડવા તથા તેમની અંદર રહેલી સુસુપ્ત શક્તિઓ, કૌશલ્ય અને વ્યક્તિત્વ વિકાસને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવા માટે ગામોમાં બાળ પ્રવૃત્તિ સેન્ટરો શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.
આ સેન્ટરોમાં બાળકો માટે રમતગમત, સર્જનાત્મક પ્રવૃત્તિઓ અને કૌશલ્યવર્ધક કાર્યક્રમો યોજવામાં આવે છે, જેના દ્વારા બાળ અધિકારો સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા અને તેમના સર્વાંગી વિકાસ માટે સતત કામગીરી થઈ રહી છે.

મારગ સંસ્થા અને માલધારી મહિલા સંગઠન દ્વારા રાધનપુર ખાતે કૌશલ્ય વર્ધન તાલીમનો પ્રારંભ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. આ તાલીમ અંતર્ગત બહેનોને શિવણકામ , દૂધની બ્યૂટી પ્રોડક્ટ બનાવવી, અને કૌશલ્ય વર્ધન થાય તેવી તાલીમો નિશુલ્ક આપવામાં આવશે

આ પહેલનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ્ય એ છે કે મહિલાઓ નવી કળાઓ શીખીને આર્થિક રીતે સ્વાવલંબન, પગભરતા અને આત્મવિશ્વાસી બની શકે.

માલધારી મહિલાઓના સશક્તિકરણ તરફનું આ એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ પગલું છે.

🌟આજના આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય યુવા દિવસ નિમિત્તે મારગ દ્વારા શંખેશ્વર અને પાટડી તાલુકાના યુવા ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો સાથે એક યુવા શિબિરનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું, જ્યાં ૧૪ ગામના ૪૬ યુવાનો દ્વારા ચરિયાણ, પશુપાલન, આજીવિકા અને શિક્ષણના મુદ્દાઓ પર જૂથ ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી. આવનારા માલધારીઓ અને ચરિયાણ માટેના આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય વર્ષ ૨૦૨૬ ની જાગૃતિ વિશે વાત કરીને સાંસદસભ્યો અને ધારાસભ્યોને આવેદન પત્ર આપવામાટે યુવાનોની ટીમ બનાવવામાં આવી, જે IYRP પરિપેક્ષ્યમાં એક મહત્વની પહેલ બની રહશે.

આવો યુવાનો સાથે મળીને માલધારીઓના અધિકારો માટે સશક્ત અવાજ ઉભો કરીએ!

મારગ દ્વારા બેચરાજી ના આજુબાજુના ૧૦ ગામોના બાળકો નો બાળમેળો ગોપનાદ ખાતે આયોજિત કરવામાં આવ્યો જેમાં બાળકો ને અલગ અલગ રચનાત્મક પ્રવૃતિઓ અને રમતો રમડવા આવી સાથે બાળ અધિકાર ની ચર્ચાઓ કરવામાં આવી

South Asia Pastoralist alliance , મારગ એને અન્ય સંસ્થાઓના સહયોગ દ્વારા બે દિવસ ના વર્કશોપ દરમિયાન માલધારીઓના યુવાનો ની મલધરિયત ના અનુસંધાને , climent, commence,and culture , ની એમની શું આકાંક્ષાઓ છે અને એ માટે પોતે ,સંગઠન અને બીજા stekholders શું કરી શકે એની વિસ્તાર થી ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી.સાથે સાથે Shri Lanka,Nepal, Afganistan and Bangladesh na માલધારીઓ અને દેશના અલગ અલગ રાજ્યોમાં માલધારીઓ સાથે કેવા પ્રકારના કામ થઈ રહ્યા છે એની ચર્ચા પણ થઈ.
