👁️ BRINGING THE GIFT OF CLEAR VISION TO RURAL COMMUNITIES! 💚

FREE EYE CHECK-UP & SPECTACLES DISTRIBUTION CAMP
📍 Village Hirapur, Taluka Sanand, Ahmedabad District

Herva Foundation, in association with SEWA Sanand and Rotary Club of Ahmedabad North, organised a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Village Hirapur, bringing essential eye care closer to the rural community.
👁️ 70 villagers benefited from this initiative, most of whom were women and senior citizens. Spectacles were provided to those in need, while villagers diagnosed with cataracts received proper guidance and referrals to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The most heartwarming moment was seeing the villagers wearing their new spectacles with happiness and satisfaction. Their smiles reminded us that sometimes, a small gesture can make a big difference in someone's life!

🌿 HEALTHCARE REACHING THE VILLAGES 🌿

🩺 FREE HEALTH DIAGNOSTIC & MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION CAMP
Moti Kumud, Taluka Viramgam | 5th October 2026
Why do we continue holding medical camps in small villages? Because many distant villages still have limited access to healthcare, and reaching a hospital is not always easy for villagers. With the support of SEWA Viramgam, we are taking healthcare closer to those who need it most.
At our camp in the small village of Moti Kumud, 73 villagers came forward for consultation — 14 men and 59 women, including 14 senior citizens. Free medicines were distributed to all participants. Common complaints included cold, cough and skin ailments.
🙏 Our sincere thanks to the Sarpanch of Moti Kumud for providing the Panchayat Office, Dr. Kanan Patel for managing the camp single-handedly, and the SEWA Viramgam team for their valuable support.
A special salute to our dedicated volunteers, who are senior citizens, who continue to serve rural communities with enthusiasm and commitment.

🌿 BRINGING HEALTHCARE CLOSER TO THE VILLAGERS OF BHIMPURA ❤️
“We Bring Smiles to the Faces of the Villagers”

On 29th September 2026, Herva Foundation organised a FREE HEALTH DIAGNOSTIC & MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION CAMP at Bhimpura Village, Gandhinagar District, in association with SEWA Gandhinagar and Rotary Club of Ahmedabad North.
Though Bhimpura is a small village, 57 villagers came forward to take advantage of the health camp — 19 men and 38 women.
Among them were 16 senior citizens, including 9 men and 7 women. It was particularly touching to meet some of our senior citizens who were in their nineties and had come to the camp seeking medical advice and care. ❤️
During the camp, several villagers were found suffering from common ailments such as cough, cold and skin infections. Medical consultation was provided, and medicines were distributed free of cost.
🙏 A special thank you to the SEWA Gandhinagar volunteers, led by Anita, for their excellent efforts in organising the camp and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
We are also grateful to Dr. Kanan for taking time from her busy schedule to join us and provide medical consultation to the villagers.
Our sincere thanks to the Sarpanch of Bhimpura for generously making the spacious Village Panchayat Office available as the venue for the camp.

🌿 BRINGING HEALTHCARE CLOSER TO THE VILLAGERS OF SHIYAL

On 2 September 2026, Herva Foundation, in association with SEWA Viramgam and Rotary Club of Ahmedabad North, organised a Free Health Diagnostic & Medicine Distribution Camp at the Primary School in Shiyal Village, Viramgam Taluka, Gujarat.
👨⚕️ 70 villagers came forward for medical consultation — 24 men and 46 women. Among them were 27 senior citizens, including elderly villagers aged 80 years and above.
💊 Following consultation, free medicines were distributed to all patients.
For many people living in rural areas, especially senior citizens, travelling to access healthcare can be difficult. Bringing basic medical consultation and medicines directly to their village is therefore a small but meaningful step towards making healthcare more accessible.
🙏 Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kanan Patel, who managed the camp single-handedly with great dedication, and to the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad North, SEWA Viramgam, the villagers of Shiyal, the School Principal and the Sarpanch for their valuable support and cooperation.
