A little investment in empowerment can create BIG results.

Glad to announce the successful completion of our “Jan Adhikar” project in the South Gujarat tribal belt covering villages in Dharampur.

Over the past 4 months, our dedicated team of 4 field agents worked across approximately 15 villages and supported more than 800 beneficiaries by:

1- Identifying eligible citizens

2-Helping and Verifying documentation

3- Facilitating registrations for various Government welfare schemes and entitlements

This initiative required extensive on-ground engagement, continuous follow-ups, and overcoming daily operational delays and uncertainties in remote tribal areas.

A heartfelt appreciation to our field staff for their persistence, commitment, and grassroots outreach efforts. Their work helped ensure that deserving citizens in rural and tribal communities could access critical government schemes and welfare benefits intended for them.

Small interventions at the grassroots level can create meaningful social impact and strengthen inclusive development.

Karmakonnect in support from SEWA Canada and Shiv Shakti Durga Bhawani Mandir Public Charitable Trust has been operating an ambulance service in Baksa District ( Assam) providing transportation support to both normal and critical patients from surrounding rural and remote areas. Prior to this initiative, no organized emergency ambulance service was available in this region.

The rural poor and underprivileged population have greatly benefitted from this service as they now receive timely and safe transportation to hospitals for proper medical treatment at very nominal charges.

The service has significantly strengthened emergency healthcare access in the locality and has saved numerous lives through prompt medical response.
