Saral Foundation, an NGO of Nirma University, was started by Nirma Alumni’s in 2009. Today, it is a registered NGO working towards the betterment of underprivileged children both in the campus as well as in the school. Their school was inaugurated on May 6, 2012 under the STP programme of the Government of India which gets updated every year. The pedagogue, paid by the Government, helps the childr
en to bring metamorphosis in them by providing sound education. The students and the faculties of the varsity have made arduous and regular efforts to bring about a change in the lives of these children by fulfilling their physiological needs, providing education, preventing exploitative child labor practices and teaching them various things such as dancing, singing and playing different games as a part of their daily evening activity in the sprawling Nirma campus. The students also celebrate each and every festival and event organized at IMNU throughout the year, with Saral kids to help them realize their real potential and burgeon their life.
