https://form.qfixonli In 2002, soon after the devastating killer earthquake in Gujarat, that displaced many people from their homes and livelihoods and de-linked children from education, the alumni of IIM-A and dynamic eduprenuer Mrs.Manjula Pooja Shroff, Chairperson, Kalorex Education Research Foundation, founded this organization and gave shape to her dreams of working with the underprivileged. VKF is where children from poor families below the poverty line strata are not only given a secured shelter, but their dreams and aspirations are nurtured so that they could go back to their families & community and help the others come up in life.

25th Year Celebration - Update 3

Nature really is the best teacher! 🌿

The children from our shelter home recently set off on an exciting trekking camp at Bakor, and what an unforgettable experience it was!

Watching their eyes light up as they explored the natural surroundings was a total joy. From discovering unique trees to learning about different plant species, every step was a new lesson.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Trupti Thakor and Mr. Rajendra Jadeja for organizing this meaningful trek and giving our children the gift of exploring nature!

Today, on Gandhi Jayanti, we at Visamo Kids Foundation honor Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy by re-committing to his core belief: "If we are to teach real peace in this world, we shall have to begin with the children."

For millions of underprivileged children, education is the single most powerful key to breaking the cycle of poverty and shaping a bright, self-reliant future. Every child deserves the opportunity to read, learn, and dream without barriers.

Education shouldn’t have boundaries, and distance should never determine a child’s future. 📚
To ensure that quality education reaches children in even the most interior regions of Gujarat, our team at Visamo Kids Foundation recently traveled to Dahod as part of our ongoing admission process for the academic year 2027.
Through a preliminary evaluation conducted in collaboration with our partnering NGO, Aadhar Foundation (Junapani, Dahod), we were able to screen young, promising minds who are eager to learn. The children selected through this process will begin their exciting academic journey with us in 2027.
Every step into the deep interiors brings us one step closer to our goal: making education accessible, inclusive, and transformative for every child, no matter where they live.

In a world where technology is affecting and changing every dimension of our lives.... Staying connected to our culture and rich heritage is equally important.

Children of Visamo Kids Foundation have been attending the 'The Nuances of Bhagwat Gita Chanting ' program. The sessions simplify reading and chanting the original Sanskrit text, making it more engaging and impactful. The sessions are conducted by Ms Sandhya Prasun Kundu and Mr. Prasun Kundu from Hone ST Solutions . On Sunday 20th September 2023 a competition was organised by Chinmay Mission , where 4500 children from all over the city participated in the Gita Chanting Competition. We proudly announce, that the 1st prize was awarded to our student Master Pushpraj Rathod.( Grade 6)

We express gratitude to Ms Sandhya Prasun Kundu and Mr. Prasun Kundu from Hone ST Solutions for guiding and playing a vital role in the holistic learning journey of the children of our shelter home.

Visamo Kids Foundation- 25th Year Celebration ✨

As part of our ongoing 25th year celebration, an inhouse creative design competition was conducted. Students of our shelter home put on their creative hats and made hand drawn emblems depicting 25 years of transforming lives of underprivileged children through quality education. The winner of the competition is our grade 9 student Ms. Mittal Doshiyar.

Today our esteemed VTG members and management staff unveil the emblem for you. We at Visamo Kids Foundation acknowledge and express gratitude for all the support , love and dedication of all are Donors ,VTG members ,Volunteers, Supporters, Mentors Educators and Partnering Institutions/Organisations who have helped us at every step of the way in achieving our mission and helping children from underprivileged background achieve their dreams.

Empowerment begins with preparedness!

On this World First Aid Day, 12th September, we at Visamo Kids Foundation hosted a vital hands-on First Aid Training session for our in-house staff, conducted by the expert medical team from DPS, Bopal , Ahmedabad .

With over 100 children living under one roof, safety is always our top priority at our shelter home . Everyday play and activities mean minor bumps, scrapes, or sudden health emergencies can happen at any moment. Having our core team trained in the basics of First Aid—from managing minor injuries and burns to handling critical emergency responses—makes all the difference in those crucial first few minutes.
Knowing how to administer the right aid at the right time isn't just a skill; it’s a lifeline that ensures our kids stay safe, secure, and cared for around the clock.
A heartfelt thank you to the DPS Bopal , Ahmedabad medical team for sharing their knowledge and empowering our staff to be everyday lifesavers.

News Flash ⚡

We’ve officially started our new admissions process at Visamo Kids Foundation , gearing up to bring quality education to even more deserving families.

Our first step was an in-house test that was conducted at our campus. For further reach, we visited Kavita Foundation, an incredible NGO in Vejalpur, Ahmedabad. We spent time connecting with parents, sharing our mission, and walking them through how we support young learners.

It's a long process involving different levels of screening and document verification ,while the journey to enroll each child takes time, every conversation brings us one step closer to opening up a world of quality education—and giving a family renewed hope for a bright future.
