on, Kalorex Education Research Foundation, founded this organization and gave shape to her dreams of working with the underprivileged. VKF is where children from poor families below the poverty line strata are not only given a secured shelter, but their dreams and aspirations are nurtured so that they could go back to their families & community and help the others come up in life.

At Visamo Kids Foundation , we are more than just a shelter—we are a true "Home Away From Home" for our children.
Transitioning into a shelter home and navigating the complexities of growing up can be challenging for a child. To ensure they always feel safe, understood, and loved, our dedicated Gruhmatas (House Mothers) reside with the children 24/7, serving as their steady anchors and managing both their physical and emotional well-being.

To provide the highest standard of care, our Gruhmatas undergo regular professional training sessions. These workshops focus on:
• Advanced Child Care: Understanding child psychology and behavioral changes.
• Tech-Savviness: Keeping pace with digital advancements to guide kids effectively.
• VUCA Preparedness: Learning to navigate a volatile and uncertain world confidently.

This continuous training not only accelerates their own personal and professional growth but also empowers them to excel in their vital roles as foundational caregivers.

To guide children from challenging backgrounds through this landscape, our educators must be equipped with modern tools.
We recently hosted an intensive, high-impact *VUCA Training Session* for our shelter home staff, Mentors, and Educators. The workshop was led by Ms. Neelam Shah, an exceptionally experienced academician and accomplished author.

The Core Focus: Understanding Child Behavior

Children growing up in shelter homes often carry unspoken emotional baggage and unique psychological needs. Ms. Nilima Shah expertly deconstructed how child behavior changes in response to uncertainty and stress. She provided our team with actionable frameworks to decode these behavioral shifts.

Shifting from Regulation to Empowerment
The training moved away from traditional rule-enforcement. Instead, it focused on how to intentionally guide children toward emotional security.
Transform daily behavioral challenges into teachable moments for growth.
By refining how we interact with, guide, and educate our children today, we are ensuring they step into society tomorrow as confident, independent, and highly successful adults.

Our hearts are bursting with pride as the print media , Sandesh- City Life (Ahd) and Gujarat Samachar Plus(Ahd) captures the incredible, inspiring journey of our alumni, Dr. Urmila Makwana and Ms. Pinkal Someshwara.

The headlines say it all: "From Struggle to Success:
Daughter of a Farm Laborer Becomes a Doctor."
Urmila’s father, Mafatbhai, worked tirelessly under the scorching sun as a farm laborer in Tarapur village.
Pikal's father on the other hand runs a paan parlour and resides in the slums of Vadaj .
Today, their daughters stand tall as a qualified MBBS doctor and a LLB LLM post graduate respectively. ready to conquer the world. 🩺 ⚖️
Pinkal has further cleared her NET and is now ready to pursue her PhD .

Urmila and Pikal's journey is the ultimate validation of our mission at Visamo Kids Foundation . When you give an underprivileged child a level playing field, quality education, and constant mentorship, they don't just clear exams—they break generational cycles of poverty.

વિસામો કિડ્સના આંગણાનું અમૂલ્ય રત્ન એટલે ઊર્મિલા મકવાણા, જેણે હાલમાં MBBS ની ડિગ્રી મેળવી પોતાના સપનાઓને સાકાર કર્યા છે. વર્ષોની મહેનતે ઊર્મિલાને મોટા સપનાઓ જોતા શીખવ્યું છે. તૈયારીની આ સમગ્ર પ્રક્રિયામાં તેનો આત્મવિશ્વાસ વધ્યો અને ડર દૂર થયો. વિસામોમાં તેને ભાવનાત્મક સહારો પણ મળ્યો. આ સપોર્ટથી પ્રેરાઈને તેણે સતત હાર્ડવર્ક કર્યું અને પોતાના કરિયરને એક સુંદર આકાર આપ્યો. ઓછા સંસાધનોના દબાણ છતાં ઊર્મિલા મકવાણાને અંતે સફળતા મળી અને તેની ખુશીનું સેલિબ્રેશન પણ કરવામાં આવ્યું.
