Which has been producing best quality hybrid seeds of many crops & serving our country in both Agriculture & Horticulture. The Land around this town produces many crops, major are Rice, Wheat, Mustard, Narma, Kapaas (Cotton). Paddy. PEOPLE :-
People of this town are simple, Straight forward, & Traditional. Population of this town has majority of Rajasthani (bagri), Punjabi, Sikh,& Bania. People speak HINDI & their Local Languages. Most of the Sikh & Jaat people are Land Lords. EDUCATION:-
There are 4 Govt Schools & Many Private Schools. at present this town has 2 colleges also with selected subjects only. infrastructure is not so good. The one of the great education center was ADARSH VIDYA MANDIR, Established by one of the great Guruji Shri MALHAR ARYA. This holy spirit is no more with us, but he was the Person who created a culture through education.This School is still in operation but after Guruji it's like other commercial schools. Other Private Schools are - Kirti Public sen Secondary School, Central Acadamy, Amrit Bal Vidya peeth, St. Sndrews, & Many More. . . . The development of Education system still needs a help. The Govt schools also need help from society.There are many Govt Plans & schemes for students from different levels of society specially for Girls.But lesser are getting benefit from these. This is the Topic which shouldn't be discussed.I would say it's a major fault of Administrative body and the same has been accepted by people of the town who selected them.It really need help. One can find green field, Farms around the Town. so one can easily find a good natural scenic, Fresh air, No pollution. But the Town really need help. CULTURE :
It has mix culture - Punjabi, Rajasthani & Sindhi.
