To our media partners ๐ค
A conference, at its core, is about sharing ideas. Conferences like the India Land & Development Conference (ILDC) put all kinds of effort into ensuring that itโs not just experts who participate in its conversations, efforts into lowering the barriers of time and language by uploading full sessions online and facilitating real-time translation wherever possible.
And yet, it goes only so far.
What furthers the cause of accessibility to land dialogue better than us is our media partners, and other non-affiliate media outlets.
For example, when reports on the session ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐ โ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐จโ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐: ๐๐ค๐ก๐๐๐ฎ ๐ฟ๐๐จ๐๐ช๐จ๐จ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ผ๐ง๐๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ค๐ฃ๐จ organised by it brings the issues of community governance over common lands into the mainstream.
When .in interviews the panelists at the conference, it brings us that much closer to the ideal of laypeople probing the experts, while the experts get to clear misconceptions.
When hosts ILDCโs content, it gives Indiaโs land dialogue visibility and input, through international participants and delegations.
And most importantly, when independent journalists like Mr Satish Bhartiya report on the conference in regional languages, we can only ever be grateful to be reaching people we wouldnโt have otherwise.
So a big thank you to all our media partners over the years and to media outlets not affiliated to us, first of all, we hope you partner with us for ILDC2026, but if you donโt, thank you for working for the cause anyway.
