🇮🇳 India Secures Second Place at International AgroNTRI Competition in Moscow. 🇷🇺

Celebrating young talent at the intersection of agriculture, space technology, and innovation.

The Indian team secured second place in the AgroSpace category at the international AgroNTRI competition, with the superfinal held in Moscow on 9–10 October 2026.

🏅Representing India, Maheshwari Kanika, Reddy Pinnapureddy Saksh*t, and Karadagi Sanvi won silver medals, competing against school students from 13 countries. The competition tested participants’ skills in drone and robot operations, as well as satellite imagery interpretation, highlighting the growing role of advanced technologies in modern agriculture.

The awards were presented by Oksana Lut, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, and Andrey Zhizhин, Director General of the Foundation for Assistance to Innovations.

Organised by the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises and the CenterProgramSystem Group, with support from Russia’s Ministries of Agriculture and Education, such platforms create opportunities to exchange knowledge and explore solutions to shared global challenges.

What can young people across BRICS do together for climate and the environment? 🌍

Introducing BRICS Youth for our Planet, a joint initiative of BRICS Youth Alliance and EARTHDAY.ORG.

From October 2026 to January 2027, four monthly dialogues will explore circular economy, sustainable lifestyles, climate resilience and youth cooperation, connecting environmental challenges with practical responses from across BRICS nations.

Engage directly with environmental experts across BRICS countries, ask questions and share experiences from your community. Through expert panel discussions, and youth dialogue, participants will contribute to a collective BRICS Youth Environmental Statement.

Participants who attend all four sessions will receive a certificate of participation and completion.

Young leaders, shared commitments, and a vision for a sustainable future.

Team BRICS Youth Alliance joined young leaders and volunteers from across to plant the Leaders’ Garden during the World Youth Festival 2026 in Ekaterinburg,Russia,participating in the tree-planting ceremony organised in partnership with the International Association DOBRO.

Planting a tree became a symbolic gesture of our shared commitment to sustainability, community service and the values that connect young people across borders.

As these trees grow, they will remain a lasting reminder of the people, ideas and connections brought together by the Festival.🌱

Five countries. One panel. One question shaping the future of volunteering.🌎

At the Global Assembly of Volunteers, part of the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development (IVY 2026) at the World Youth Festival in Ekaterinburg Russia, the conversation turned to updating a 25-year-old Declaration for today’s world.



Madish Parikh, Director BRICS Youth Alliance, alongside Raymond Matlala of the South African BRICS Youth Association - joined by fellow speakers Artem Metelev, Zarnigor Rachabzoda, and Shirin Abidova.

The discussion touched on some of the defining questions of this generation:

Can embracing difference build more resilient communities?

Should “digital responsibility” become a core principle of volunteering a commitment to use AI and digital platforms ethically and transparently?

Is every person capable of driving meaningful, measurable change?

Young people don’t just inherit the future of volunteering, they help write it.

Thank you to organizer International association DOBRO and the National Council for Corporate Volunteering, and to co-moderators Andrey Pysin and Olga Golyshenkova, for the invitation to be part of this milestone conversation.
