This , we’re sharing our Little Pockets of Care- small, everyday moments that help us slow down, recharge and take care of our mental well-being in ways that feel real to us. Care doesn’t always have to be big to matter.

This is what our team member, Aashka’s little pockets of care looked like this past week!

Our brains are naturally wired to seek predictability. Which is why, at times, we may find ourselves returning to people, patterns or environments that feel familiar, even when they are emotionally uncomfortable.

From a psychological perspective, the nervous system often interprets familiarity as safer than uncertainty. Not necessarily because it feels good but because it feels known. This doesn’t mean we consciously choose discomfort. It means our minds are often trying to protect us using what they already recognise.

Somewhere along the way, many of us began associating pauses with falling behind. Rest started feeling unproductive. Stepping away started feeling like giving up. And slowing down began to carry guilt.

But pauses are not always endings. Sometimes they are what allow us to return with more clarity, energy and steadiness. Just like a comma in a sentence, taking a pause does not mean the story is over.

As we wrap up our series ‘In Their World’, we thought we’d show you a little glimpse of.. our world.

What went on behind the scenes? A lot of retakes, forgotten lines, awkward singing and confidence swiftly disappearing the second the camera turns on. But somehow, between all the chaos, there was always intention, effort and a whole lot of heart. We hope this made you smile the way it made us laugh! 💛

And if our work resonates with you, please consider supporting us through the link in our bio- because as you can clearly see, this team could use all the help it can get! 😅
