After clearing tons of waste from the pond, we are now moving on to the next step: creating the retaining wall. This wall will support the surrounding slopes, stabilizing the area around the pond.

We would like to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for our site team. They have been tirelessly executing our design in this scorching weather. While it has become challenging for many to even step outside, their dedication and hard work are bringing our vision to life.

We are confident that this project will eventually create a refreshing oasis, providing comfortable and pleasant shade for everyone to enjoy during the heat.

Global temperatures are rising day by day, with India recording a maximum temperature of 52.3 degrees Celsius. This extreme heat not only causes discomfort for humans but also affects other living organisms, significantly impacting lifestyles and leading to major health issues.

In such harsh conditions, people tend to avoid stepping outside during the day. When they go out, the lack of trees and shaded areas makes it even more challenging.

To address this issue while doing rejuvenation work for the pond in Agra, we have strategically planned the vegetation. We have implemented dense plantation on the south and western sides to block the maximum heat and sunlight, while maintaining sparse plantation on the north and east sides to allow soft, pleasant morning light to filter through. This approach aims to create a more comfortable and cooler environment around the pond.

From the dawn of civilization, human life has thrived around water bodies. However, with today's growing population and rapid urbanization, many of these vital water sources have been neglected, polluted, or have even dried up. As planners, it is our responsibility to raise awareness about the significance of water bodies and to conserve the ones that remain.

In line with this commitment, we are embarking on an ambitious project to transform a wasteland into a vibrant, green oasis. This new space will not only rejuvenate the environment but also foster community engagement and appreciation for our natural resources.
