The Institution of Engineers (India) is a professional and academic body working since 1920 committed for advancement of Technology and Engineering having 113 Centres in the Country and 5 Centres in abroad. One of the primary functions of the Institution is dissemination and up gradation of Engineering and Technological knowledge and diffusion of information through technical activities such as s

eminars, symposia, continuing educational course, workshops, training programmes, conventions and conferences etc, at both national and international levels including the up-gradation of engineering qualification of Engineers through conduction of examinations. In the State of Tripura it is functioning through Tripura State Centre from its Office located at Pandit Nehru Complex (Adjacent to Tripura Housing & Construction Board), Gurkhabasti, Agartala.
