On 7th August, 2026 the State Secretary and Branch Officer, Tripura State Bharat Scouts & Guides, paid a courtesy visit to Sri Amar B. Chetri, Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides at the National Headquarters, New Delhi, and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations on his appointment as the Director of Bharat Scouts & Guides. He also met Sri Analendra Sharma, Assistant Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the successful hosting of the 9th North East Mini Jamboree to be organized for the first time in Tripura at Agartala in November 2026 along with various youth programmes and organizational development initiatives aimed at strengthening the Scouts & Guides Movement in the Tripura State.

On 7th August, 2026 The West Tripura District Committee under The Tripura State Bharat Scouts and Guides formally convened to extend a warm welcome to the newly joined Assistant Director of West District Youth Affairs and Sports and District Chief Commissioner (Scout), the session served as both an official welcoming ceremony and a strategic dialogue aimed at elevating youth and scouting activities across the district. The committee engaged in a comprehensive discussion focused on modernizing youth outreach and scaling inter-departmental collaboration.

The Khowai Sub-Division Bharat Scouts and Guides successfully celebrated World Scarf Day on 1st August 2026 at Chebri English Medium High School with the theme "Share Your Scouting Journey."
The programme was graced by respected teachers, Scout leaders, and enthusiastic Scouts and Guides and School Students. Senior Scouts and Senior Guides shared their inspiring Scouting journeys, followed by an engaging quiz competition, certificate distribution ceremony, and sweets distribution.
The celebration strengthened the spirit of Scouting, encouraged friendship, leadership, and service, and inspired the younger generation to uphold the Scout Promise and Law.
