💄 Inauguration of the 3-Month Skill Development Training Programme in Beauty & Wellness at Jawaharlal Nehru Balika Nivas, Chinahani, Agartala, empowering young women with valuable vocational skills for a brighter and self-reliant future.

🌴 Tree Plantation 🌴

Taking care of our environment is our duty and responsibility.

On the auspicious day of return journey of Lord Jagannath, Lions Club of Agartala Anish organised a Tree plantation Drive at Khudiram Basu English Medium School, Dhaleshwar. The Principal along with the teachers of the school and members of our club actively participated in planting 100 saplings within the school boundary with a pledge to take care of the trees.

Earlier in 2024, 2025 we planted trees at various places in the city particularly between the stretch between Orient Chowmuhani and Jackson gate. It is a delightful sight to see these trees now fully grown up.

A Successful Step Towards a Healthier Community!! 🦁👁️🩸🩺❤️

Lions Club of Agartala Anish is pleased to share the successful completion of our Mega Free Eye Check-up & Diabetes Detection Camp, organized in collaboration with Ashvini Netralaya on 12th July 2026 at Jain Auto Honda, Agartala.

The camp received an overwhelming response from the community, with numerous people benefiting from free eye examinations, blood sugar & blood pressure screening, and identification for free cataract surgeries. This initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare through early detection and timely treatment.

📊 Camp Highlights:
• Total Beneficiaries: 86
• Cataract Surgeries Identified: 7

All patients requiring cataract surgery have already been shifted to Ashvini Netralaya and are scheduled to undergo their procedures shortly.

We sincerely thank our medical professionals, volunteers, partners and every beneficiary for making this service project a remarkable success.

The Lions Club of Agartala Anish successfully conducted its 1st Board of Directors Meeting on 11th July 2026 at Hotel Anurag Palace, Agartala, under the leadership of the new PST team:
