Today in Dharmanagar, the Grapplers of North District paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble President of the State Grappling Association.

During the meeting, important discussions were held regarding sports development, future plans, and the promotion of Grappling. 🤝

The Selection Trial for the 19th Senior National Grappling Championship 2026 was held on 19 April at Netaji Sangha Club, Agartala. Eleven players were selected to represent the Grappling Association of Tripura.

Female:
Rozami Molsum, Sujotika Debnath, Puja Das, Diya Chand, Deepa Debnath.
Male:
Gandhi Lal Debbarma, Tripal Debbarma, Jinet Debbarma, Samrat Nath, Diary Debbarma, Swadesh Debbarma.

১৯ তারিখে উপস্থিত সকল অংশগ্রহণকারীকে অবশ্যই তাদের আধার কার্ড, জন্ম সনদের জেরক্স কপি এবং অরিজিনাল কপি সঙ্গে আনতে হবে। এছাড়াও ২ কপি পাসপোর্ট সাইজ এবং ২ কপি স্ট্যাম্প (ট্রাম্প) সাইজের ছবি আনতে হবে।

সেদিন উপস্থিত সকলের ওজন মাপা হবে। প্রতিটি ওজন বিভাগের মধ্যে যদি চারজন করে প্রতিযোগী থাকে, তাহলে তাদের মধ্যে থেকে পারফরম্যান্স অনুযায়ী সেরা খেলোয়াড়কে সিলেক্ট করা হবে।

যারা সিলেক্ট হবে, তাদেরকে সিলেকশনের ১০ দিনের মধ্যে নির্ধারিত ফি জমা দিতে হবে।

📢 NOTICE

The Selection Trial for the 19th Senior National Grappling Championship will be held on Sunday, 19th April, at Jogendranagar, Bankumari, Agartala, starting from 11:00 AM.

It is hereby informed that the 19th Senior National Grappling Championship 2026–27 will be held in Guwahati from 29th to 31st May.

Players from Tripura in Grappling and Malla Yuddha are eligible to participate in this competition.

🔹 About the Games:
Grappling is similar to Wrestling and Judo.
Malla Yuddha is similar to Amateur Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), including kicks, punches, and grappling techniques.

🔹 About the Federation:
The only recognized federation for Grappling in India is the Grappling Federation of India (GFI), which is affiliated with United World Wrestling (UWW).

🔹 Eligibility:

15 to 34 years: Male & Female

35 to 60 years: Male only

🔹 Documents Required:

Age proof certificate

Aadhaar card (xerox copy)

2 passport size photos

2 stamp size photos
(Old photos will not be accepted)

🔹 Dress Code & Requirements:

T-shirt and sports shorts are mandatory

Bring a towel and water bottle

🔹 Special Information:
Martial arts coaches who are interested in the National Grappling Coach & Referee Training Course can also contact for registration.
