PREAMBLE

WE, THE BRU (REANG) ETHNIC STUDENTS OF TRIPURA, felt it required to form an organisation for the upliftment and development of Bru(Reang) Community in terms of education, Bru literature and socio-culture. For the holistic cause of explicit in the cited above the Bru students had formed an organisation on the 8th September of 2001 at Agartala, Tripura. Thus, Bru Snungnai Mthoh (a Reang students' organisation) have come into existence. The organisation was moulded with secular in nature, non-political in character and non-profitable in manner. The Central Executive Committee of Bru Snungnai Mthoh (BSM) successfully conducted a 1-Day Workshop on Leadership Training (Tuithemung ni Salhama Tangsnungmung Panda) on 30th August 2026 at the Conference Hall, Tuberculosis Association of Tripura, Agartala.

The workshop convened delegates from the Central Executive Committee and various Regional Executive Committees to strengthen institutional governance, grassroots coordination, administrative capacity, student leadership qualities, and career opportunities.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

1. Sessions led by Advisory Committee members focused on core leadership ethics, communication, problem-solving, and structured CEC–REC operational coordination.

2. Resource persons delivered specialized modules on youth leadership, active listening, and public service administration.

3. Practical training covered the standardization of official documentation.

4. Student representatives delivered structured five-minute micro-presentations analyzing socio-economic, educational, and developmental challenges.

5. The workshop concluded with regional action commitments ("One Region, One Challenge, One Action"), cultural presentations, and the distribution of certificates of participation.

Today, the Bru Snungnai Mthoh (BSM), Amarpur Regional Committee successfully conducted its Regional Committee Reformation Programme, along with a Welcome Programme for the 1st Semester students, at the Conference Hall, AMBS Mahavidyalaya, Amarpur.

The programme was graced by the presence of:

Bru Snungnai Mthoh (BSM), Kumarghat Region, Unakoti, Tripura, organized a 1st Semester Welcome and 6th Semester Farewell Programme on 8th August 2026 at East Raitwisa Saibual Committee Hall.

The programme was organized to warmly welcome the newly admitted 1st Semester students into the BSM family and to extend best wishes to the 6th Semester students as they move forward to the next stage of their academic and professional journey.
