WE, THE BRU (REANG) ETHNIC STUDENTS OF TRIPURA, felt it required to form an organisation for the upli

ftment and development of Bru(Reang) Community in terms of education, Bru literature and socio-culture. For the holistic cause of explicit in the cited above the Bru students had formed an organisation on the 8th September of 2001 at Agartala, Tripura. Thus, Bru Snungnai Mthoh (a Reang students' organisation) have come into existence. The organisation was moulded with secular in nature, non-political in character and non-profitable in manner. The 1st General Meeting of BSM was held today at Saheed Bhagat Singh Yuba Awas, Agartala.
The meeting was presided over by President Mr. Gabriyel Reang.

The meeting was also graced by the presence of Advisory Committee Chairman Mr. Gobinda Reang, Vice Chairman Mr. Dayamohan Reang, General Secretary Mr. Rukesh Reang, along with CEC Office Bearers and other distinguished dignitaries.

Various important organizational matters were discussed in a constructive manner, and valuable suggestions were shared by the senior members for the future growth and strengthening of the organization. The meeting concluded successfully with a positive note and collective commitment towards the objectives of BSM.
