Today, 22/09/2026 an eye screening camp was done at Berimura H.S School, Bamutia, West Tripura under SCHOOL EYE EVALUATION- PROJECT
The program is an initiative of All India Ophthalmolgical Society and AIIMS, New Delhi supported by ministry of Health Government of India.
Today’s program havebeen logistically supported and sponsored by MAA USHA CHARITABLE TRUST, Bordowali, Agartala.

Team consisting of Ophthalmologist , Ophthometrist , Data operator has done the survey.
A total of 207 students havebeen screened by logmar charts and data has been uploaded in a software based app of AIIMS under geotracking .
Only 7 students were found to be having refractive errors which signifies good eye care has been taken in the rural areas of the state.
