If you still think a library is just a silent warehouse for paperbacks and overdue fines, it’s time to update your mental software. This June and July, The English Library is trading quiet whispers for vibrant, intricate geometry with a textile exhibition featuring the handmade quilts of Elana Schachter, curated by Esther Pam Zibell.

​Books are only the beginning. The Tzfat English Library is steadily evolving into a community living room. Think assorted special interest clubs and a completely revamped Children's library. We are currently mid-renovation on our public spaces, dusting off the physical corners to make room for actual interaction. Behind the scenes, we’re dragging our infrastructure into the modern era with a brand-new online catalog system and an expanding digital presence.

​Maintaining a vibrant civic hub takes more than well-wishes and library cards. It takes capital. Your patronage, attendance, and financial support doesn't just keep the utilities paid; it directly funds the physical and digital evolution of this neighborhood anchor.

Community Puzzle Corner - Room 2
We've created a dedicated space in the Mystery & Biography room (Room 2) for an ongoing community jigsaw puzzle!
The puzzle will remain set up on the table until it is completed, so feel free to stop by anytime and add a few pieces.
Once the puzzle is finished, we'll photograph it and share it on social media before starting a new one.
Please help us keep this a fun and welcoming communal activity byvtreating the space with care and keeping the area tidy for the next puzzlers.
