🇮🇱 Making History in Har Hevron

Today, we laid the cornerstone for Doran, a new community in Western Judea, together with Defense Minister Israel Katz, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, and regional leaders.

Doran is another step in strengthening communities, security, and the future of the region.

As Council Head Eliram Azulay said: “We are not only building a new community—we are building the future.”

Talking about connections?

Come discover an inspiring connection between Tzvia Ulpana in Har Hevron and Barkai School in Brooklyn.

The students meet once a week on Zoom, learning about one another’s lives, communities, and experiences while building meaningful friendships that strengthen the bonds between our communities.

We are reminded that the Jewish people are one family, and it is our shared responsibility to deepen those connections despite the challenge of distance.

We hope that in the near future these virtual meetings will grow into in-person encounters, exchanges, and visits that will further strengthen the ties between our communities and between all parts of the Jewish people. 🇮🇱🤝🇺🇸✨

There really are no words to describe yesterday.

We had the privilege of hosting a special tour in Har Hevron for a group of olim who came all the way from Ir Yamim in Netanya.

Together, we explored the farms, stood among the wheat fields, and visited the winery in Ancient Susya, where we met Moshe Yahalom, who produces flour right here in Har Hevron.

We had such meaningful conversations about how to share this unique flour with more communities looking to bring extra depth and connection into their challah baking and hafrashat challah experiences.

Something very special is growing here…
