אתמול ביקרנו בית יגאל אלון Yigal Allon Center بيت يجآل الون בתכנית "מפגשי האביב", תכנית מרגשת שנמשכת כבר שנים וממשיכה את דרכו ומורשתו של יגאל אלון ז״ל.

במסגרת "מפגשי אביב" נפגשים בני נוער מהמרחב של השותפות – יהודים, ערבים, דרוזים וצ'רקסים – למפגשי היכרות, חיבור ויצירה משותפת 🎨🎶
הם עובדים יחד סביב נושאים כמו שלום, חברות, מוזיקה, משפחה וטבע, בליווי צוותי ההדרכה המקסימים, ומשלבים גם ביקורי אירוח הדדיים בבתי הספר השונים.
המפגשים האלו יוצרים מרחב בטוח להיכרות אמיתית, לשיח ולמפגש – ומניחים אבני יסוד לדרך ארוכה של אהבה, סובלנות ושותפות הדדית בין בני הנוער שלנו 💫
"מפגשי אביב" היא תכנית הדגל של בית יגאל אלון, ובה משתתפים כ-600 תלמידים מהאזור מדי שנה.

Yesterday we visited the Yigal Alon Center for the "Spring Encounters" program – a powerful, long-running initiative that continues the path and legacy of Yigal Alon.

As part of "Spring Encounters," teens from across our Partnership region – Jewish, Arab, Druze and Circassian – come together for meetings of connection, dialogue and shared creativity. 🎨🎶
They work side by side around themes such as peace, friendship, music, family and nature, guided by dedicated educational staff, and also take part in mutual hosting visits at each other’s schools.

These encounters create a safe space for genuine acquaintance, open conversation and meaningful meeting – laying the foundations for a long journey of love, tolerance and mutual partnership among our young people. 💫

"Spring Encounters" is the flagship program of the Yigal Alon Center, with around 600 students from the partnership region taking part each year.

We want to say a huge thank you to the St. Paul Jewish Federation for their generous support of "Spring Encounters." 🙏
Thanks to you, teens in our Partnership region get the chance to meet, get to know one another, talk, dream – and build together a future of hope... 🌈🌿🌍

Today P2G Sovev Kinneret visited another high school, this time in Tiberias, at the Branco-Weiss High School - to talk to the 11th graders about a gap year as a shinshin. 💙🤍
Ori Arnon shared his experiences as shinshin in Cleveland, Ohio and about how much there is to be gained from the year as a shinshin.. 🌱

Today we spoke to a large group of 11th graders at the Bet Yerah school, Jordan Valley (practically on the Kinneret!) תיכון בית ירח- הדף הרשמיwho were eager to hear about the Shinshin program to Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the greater Diaspora!
Ori Arnon, previous Shinshin to Cleveland, Ohio and former student of the school spoke passionately about the role and responsibility of a Shinshin. The students also learned about P2G Sovev Kinneret and of all the programs and projects we run… The registration for the shinshin program 2026-2027 opens of May the 26th!! 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍
