Palestinians and Israelis are two people with one future. This shared future is becoming more remote, particularly because of an inability to resolve the five "final status" issues: borders, settlements, the status of Jerusalem, water rights, and refugees. To learn more about these issues, we invite friends of human rights and social justice on an introductory tour to witness how these issues mani
fest themselves on the other side of the green line. The goal of this tour is to turn the physical and metaphorical “wall” dividing Israel-Palestine into a “window”. Throughout the day, you will cross security checkpoints, traverse communities alongside settlements in Hebron, explore Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, and see the murals on the Separation Wall. Tours to the region often leave out the issues on which our tour will focus, but these issues are at the core of a peaceful and just solution to this conflict. Seeing and experiencing the life of the “other side” will help create a more complete mosaic of the complexities of the conflict. Bridging the knowledge gap helps in taking an active role to end discrimination and inequality in the region. This is a tour designed for all political viewpoints and to show a balanced perspective.
