With heavy but grateful hearts, we share that Ran Gvili z"l has finally been brought home to Israel, where he will be laid to rest.

At AACI, our mission has always been rooted in caring for our people and supporting life in Israel, in moments of joy and in moments of deep pain. Today, we hold Ran’s family close in our hearts and stand with them in their grief, while also recognizing the profound significance of this moment.

For the first time since 2013, no Israeli hostages are being held in Gaza. This brings a measure of closure to a long and painful chapter, even as the wounds remain.

May Ran’s memory be a blessing, and may we know quieter and more hopeful days ahead. 💙🤍

The AACI family stands together, united in grief, mourning the return of 4 deceased hostages today: Shiri Bibas, Ariel Bibas, Kfir Bibas and Oded Libsh*tz. It is a very painful day for Am Yisrael. We must find strength in our unity.
We hope that all the remaining hostages should return home as quickly as possible without delay.

The US Social Security Windfall Elimination Provision is GONE
On January 5, 2025, Former U.S. President Biden signed into law the Social Security Fairness Act1, which removes the longstanding Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) reduction that applied to the U.S. Social Security benefits of persons who concurrently receive a U.S. Social Security benefit and another pension or benefit based on work not covered under the U.S. Social Security program.
The new law affects benefits payable after December 2023. More than 2.5 million Americans will receive a lump-sum payment of thousands of dollars to make up for the shortfall in benefits they should have received in 2024.
The Social Security Administration is finalizing its plan to implement the Act while limiting negative effects on their regular workloads and services to the public. They cannot yet provide an estimated timeframe for when they will adjust a person's past or future benefits, but they will continue to provide updates on this webpage. https://www.ssa.gov/benefits/retirement/social-security-fairness-act.html?tl=2 .
