hile both poverty and waste levels break new records every year in Israel, we could not stand still. Why the latter could not help solving the former? Inspired from a proven and successful model, Emmaus, we decided to create Abba Herzl. Abba Herzl has two goals: train people on repairing all kind of home appliances and distribute them at cost to families in need. To do so, we collect your unused washing machine or your old couch (or any home furniture). Our awesome team of volunteers led by retired (or not) professionals will repair them if necessary. And the new items will be distributed at a symbolic price to people in need to cover the reparation costs but also preserve recipients' dignity. To support us, visit our website abbaherzl.com
