Last week, our team in Tanzania conducted a hands-on farmer training focused on sustainable pest and disease management, including pest identification, safe pesticide use, and Integrated Pest and Disease Management (IPDM) practices.

The session created an opportunity for farmers to share field experiences, discuss challenges, and strengthen practical knowledge that can directly support their daily agricultural activities.

At CultivAid, we believe that sustainable impact starts with empowering farmers through knowledge, collaboration, and practical solutions. By strengthening local capacity, we are helping build more resilient farming communities and advancing long-term food security.

We are excited to host Nermine, Founder of Water 4 Mercy and our close partner, during her visit to Zambia and Tanzania.

Our ongoing collaboration with Water4Mercy focuses on advancing agricultural development through joint initiatives, shared expertise, and close engagement with local partners and communities to improve food security and livelihoods.

Her visit began in Zambia, where she met with our Country Director, and saw the early stages of the AITEC establishment in Zambia.

She then continued to Dodoma, where she met with our partners, connected with the CultivAid team and interns, and delivered a presentation on the collaboration between Water4Mercy, CultivAid, and Don Bosco - linking joint efforts to the day-to-day work in the field.

We are always glad to have Nermine with us and look forward to her next visit.
