As part of the Unlocking the Grape Value Chain Project in Dodoma, our grape team in Tanzania continues to provide hands-on support to grape farmers through regular field visits and technical guidance.

During a recent support visit to Makagw’a and Matumbulu, the team worked closely with farmers to strengthen vineyard management practices, improve grape quality and yields, and support compliance with industry standards.

By helping farmers produce high-quality grapes, the project is strengthening links between growers and local wineries, creating reliable market opportunities and increasing the value of locally produced grapes. This contributes to higher incomes, improved livelihoods, and a more resilient grape value chain across the Dodoma region.
