Israel - Lithuania Technology Hub

Israel - Lithuania Technology Hub The Israel Lithuania Technology Hub (ILTH) is a platform initiated and formed by the Israel Lithuania Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ILCCI).

The ILTH offers its services and assistance to companies and institutions in both countries. The Hub can assists your company to gain familiarity with both markets and identify business opportunities, partners, agents and distributors, outsourcing, technology transfer, joint ventures and other projects, based on your specific requirements. The Hub Team will apply its in depth acquaintance and exte

nsive knowledge, contacts and experience in both sectors, coupled with a detailed business information network in order to promote the business relations, cooperation and collaboration between Israeli and Lithuanian companies and organizations. It is anticipated that start-ups and young companies, which are seeking mentorship, advice, joint ventures, partners and funding, will apply to the Hub to participate in its program. The Hub Staff will vet each application and at its discretion, accept those companies where they feel they can assist significantly. The service is free of charge and limited in scope. There will however, be a nominal handling fee, which will be charged to such companies, once it has been established that the Hub can assist a company. The scope of service and exact program for each company will vary and will be tailor made for each company. Israel is a phenomenal source of innovation with more start-ups per capita than anywhere else in the world. Given Israel's small size, most Israeli companies need foreign cooperation, whether for capital, business and/or product development, as well as access to global markets. Lithuania is an ideal partner for Israel with a long history, similar cultural backgrounds, relative proximity, improved access and transport routes and market access to Europe, Lithuania is targeted as a prime technology partner for Israel. It is a preferred market in which investments can be made, start-ups promoted and is an ideal launch pad into the EU as a whole. Lithuania has an excellent wealth of talent and skilled labor which is cost effective, an interesting geopolitical position bridging Eastern and Western Europe, an understanding of cultures and access to Russia, the CIS markets and of course EU membership, as well as complementary strengths in technology emerging out of excellent academic institutions. Both countries will therefore be taking full advantage of the assets each can deliver: Israeli excellence in innovation, R&D and advanced technologies combined with Lithuanian talent, innovation, skilled labor, local and EU economic incentives and access to markets. The goal of creating an Israel/Lithuania partnership in technology is supported by both governments, via their investment and international cooperation organizations. The Hub's creation followed statements made by both governments in relation to their desire to grow cooperation and mutual investments in the fields of high-tech and innovation and the signing and creating of a joint R&D fund by MATIMOP and MITA. The ILTH and MITA have signed an MoU, providing for such cooperation.

The Israel Lithuania Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ILCCI) participated on Monday, August 4th, 2025, in the Lithuania-Israel Business Forum in Vilnius.

Interesting presentations were made by both Israeli and Lithuanian speakers, highlighting the synergies and opportunities available to the private and public business sectors. Notable areas included defense and security, energy, cyber security, agritech, medtech, and innovation in general. MOUs were also signed during the event.
Len Judes emphasized in his brief address to the Forum that while the need to grow trade and investment is clear, facilitating such growth is imperative. He focused specifically on dedicated binational collaboration, which is the role of the Chamber and its Technology Hub, and called upon participants to make use of this opportunity.
The event was further enhanced by addresses made by both Presidents Herzog and Nausėda.

In light of the extreme challenges, security issues, and regional conflicts affecting both economies, it was stated that “when the going gets tough, the tough get going!” Challenges create opportunities!🚀
