Tel Aviv Young Olim Hub Welcome Home to Tel Aviv! The Young Olim Hub of Tel Aviv @ Mazeh 9 is your all-in-one destination for info on life, community & events in the White City.

Who are we? The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality's Center for Young Adults – "Mazeh 9" (both our name and our address – 9 Mazeh St, Tel Aviv)

What do we offer? Four floors for the Young Adult Citizens of Tel Aviv-Yafo!

@ the entrance floor: A public living room! Come whenever you want, stay as long as you want, do whatever you want (as long as it doesn't bother other people). Just pop in from 09AM to 10PM, Sunday through Thursday! No reason to book in advance, no need to pay for this space (only for the coffee corner – 2 NIS!). OPEN SPACE FOR YOU. THAT SIMPLE!

@ the second floor: A Social Lab! Anyone who has a social business or a social start-up, can apply for our Social Lab. On this floor, be part of a working community of Young Adults who want to change the world.

@ the third + fourth floor: Multifunctional spaces! Any idea you may have – yes, you! – can take place here. It doesn't matter if you are registered as a NGO or not, if you own a business or not, or if you are a special citizen who has something to offer to the community. Let's talk about it, let's plan it and add it to our calendar. We have a classroom, a gallery, two conference rooms and a salon. Students can study here during the exams period. Renters can get legal advice by a lawyer from the Lawyers' Association. Actors can have rehearsals for their shows until they get accepted to Habima. Artists can exhibit their work and even sell it in affordable prices. Lectures and workshops take place during the evening hours for various subjects.

Happy Yom Ha'Aliyah! Today is the 10th of Nisan. Although normally we would be heading down to Gilgal before Pesach to check out the action, now it’s war time, and our brothers & sisters are still in captivity. So we are thinking of them, thinking of better times, and Am Yisrael Chai! Today, Gilgal is known as 'Qasr al'Yahud', it is where on the 10th of Nisan @3300 years ago we had the first mass Aliyah, with Joshua leading all of Am Yisrael across the Jordan River into the Land of Israel. Chag Samayach and thank you to all of today's amazing Olim who continue to build the Zionist dream.

Adopt-A-Safta is looking for more volunteers interested in escorting 200+ Holocaust Survivors to our annual pre-Rosh Hashana brunch & music party in Tel Aviv this Tuesday, Sept 24th 10:30-1pm. Volunteers would pick up one Survivor at their home in Tel Aviv, and order a Gett Taxi (or drive your car), helping to bring their Survivor to the event, and get them back home safely.
