Message from Kav LaOved to Anyone Who Had an Account with Global Remit and Is Owed Money by the Company:

According to the Court's decision and the law, creditors of Global Remit, especially customers who had an account with Global Remit and claim that the company owes them money, must submit a Proof of Debt Claim to the trustee.

Submitting a Proof of Debt Claim is the only way to receive money from the company. If you do not submit a claim, the trustee will not recognize you as someone entitled to receive money from the company, and you will not be able to recover your funds. The claim must be submitted no later than December 30, 2026, which is the deadline set by the Court.

The claim is submitted online, in Hebrew, requires payment of a government filing fee of 35 Shekel, and includes signing an affidavit before a lawyer.

Kav LaOved provides assistance to workers who would like help submitting their claim and signing the lawyer's affidavit, for a symbolic fee of 350 Shekel, which includes the 35 Shekel government fee.

Kav LaOved is not responsible for how the money is distributed and does not represent you in the insolvency proceedings. The only service provided by Kav LaOved is assistance with filing and submitting the claim. The rest of the process will be handled directly with the trustee appointed by the Court or with the Court itself.

Important Update – Re-Entry Visa Extension

Due to the ongoing security situation and airspace restrictions, re-entry visas (inter-visas) for migrant workers have been automatically extended.

Visas that were valid or expired between February 28, 2026 and April 21, 2026 will now be valid until April 30, 2026 (inclusive).

No need to contact immigration, the extension is automatic and updated in the system.

This applies to migrant workers in all sectors, as long as they are currently outside Israel and left with a valid re-entry visa.

Please make sure to share this update with relevant workers.
