π’ MINIMUM WAGE IS INCREASED!
Starting April 1st, 2026, the minimum wage in Israel is going up.
What does it mean?
The new salary will be reflected starting May 10th (salary for April).
BUT β payment for work on the weekly rest day (Shabbat) must be updated already from April 1st.
New minimum monthly wage:
6,248 NIS β 6,444 NIS
(+ ~196 NIS, about 3.3%)

What else changes?
β’ Hourly wage:
34.32 β 35.4 NIS
β’ Daily wage (approx.):
~250 β ~258 NIS
(relevant for vacation days & notice period)
β’ Work on Shabbat / holidays:
Payment should increase accordingly (at least ~438 NIS)
β’ Recuperation pay (Havra'a):
No change

Important to know:
The net minimum salary can be lower due to permitted deductions (health insurance, housing, food, etc.)
The weekly allowance is considered part of the salary.
