Important Update – Re-Entry Visa Extension

Due to the ongoing security situation and airspace restrictions, re-entry visas (inter-visas) for migrant workers have been automatically extended.

Visas that were valid or expired between February 28, 2026 and April 21, 2026 will now be valid until April 30, 2026 (inclusive).

No need to contact immigration, the extension is automatic and updated in the system.

This applies to migrant workers in all sectors, as long as they are currently outside Israel and left with a valid re-entry visa.

Please make sure to share this update with relevant workers.

Kav LaOved is deeply saddened and pained by the tragic death of Mary Ann De Vera, who was killed yesterday in the Iranian missile attack in Tel Aviv πŸ•―οΈπŸ’”

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and to the caregiving community in Israel.
From here, we also send our condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones, and wish a full and speedy recovery to the injured.

The State of Israel remains in an ongoing state of emergency. Even at this time, the most vulnerable populations remain exposed and at risk. We call on the authorities and the Government of Israel to act immediately to ensure effective protection for all residents of the country, regardless of status or citizenship.

It is our duty as a society to protect migrant workers as well – the caregivers who support the most vulnerable members of society during these difficult moments. We emphasize what should be self-evident: a caregiver whose employer cannot or refuses to enter a safe room or shelter must protect themselves. The employer’s family must provide full support and allow them to access a protected space whenever necessary. πŸ•―οΈ
