We're excited to introduce Dania Ziadeh, Amal-Tikva's new Operations Manager.

Dania joins us with eight years of experience creating employment opportunities for people with physical and sensory disabilities — work that built her expertise in community engagement, program management, and accessibility.

In her first few weeks, Dania has already shown us what she brings: an exceptional eye for detail, a habit of anticipating what's needed before anyone asks, and a work ethic that keeps everything moving. She's here to strengthen the administrative, financial, and organizational infrastructure so we can continue meeting the demands of the field, professionally and effectively.

Some people talk about breaking down walls.

We apparently took that a little too literally. 😉

After three years of being asked some version of, “Is peacebuilding between Israelis and Palestinians even still possible?”—this morning we knocked a hole through the wall of our office.

Because we need more space.

Over the past few years, even through war, heartbreak, and moments when this work has felt more impossible than ever, the peacebuilding field hasn’t disappeared, but actually the opposite.

The demand for serious, professional peacebuilding infrastructure has grown enormously.

At Amal-Tikva, we’ve doubled our team. We’re supporting more NGOs and leaders than we ever imagined. Our programs keep growing. Our community keeps growing. We are being asked to brief governments, philanthropists, business leaders, and speak publicly and privately to decisionmakers.

And now, as you can see here, our office space has to grow too.

So we’re taking over the space next door—and this morning we literally broke through the wall. There is something wonderfully cheesy and also deeply meaningful about walking through that hole.

Because people keep asking us whether this field is dying, but from where we're standing, it looks a lot more like we’re going to need a bigger room. ❤️

אמל-תקווה ומרכז רוסינג לחינוך ודיאלוג מציגים את המחזור הראשון של הקורס להנחיית דיאלוג מודע-טראומה, שנועד לתמוך באנשי מקצוע הפועלים בתוך ובין החברה הישראלית והפלסטינית.

ככל שהמציאות באזור שלנו הופכת מורכבת וכואבת יותר, כך גובר הצורך בהנחיה רגישה ומודעת לטראומה. הקורס יתמקד בהבנת האופן שבו טראומה קולקטיבית משפיעה על תהליכי דיאלוג, ויקנה למשתתפים כלים פרקטיים ומיומנויות הנחיה לניהול דיאלוג בתוך מציאות של קונפליקט מתמשך.

هل ترغبون في تطوير مهاراتكم كميسّرين وميسّرات يتمتعون بوعي بالصدمات؟ تُطلق مؤسسة أمل-تكفا ومركز روسينغ أول دورة لهما في تيسير الحوار القائم على فهم الصدمات النفسية والمخصصة للميسّرين العاملين داخل المجتمعين الإسرائيلي والفلسطيني وغيرهما.

تطلق أمل-تكفا الدورة الأولى من برنامج تيسير الحوار الواعي بالصدمات، والذي يهدف إلى دعم المهنيين العاملين داخل وبين المجتمعين الإسرائيلي والفلسطيني. كلما أصبح واقعنا في المنطقة أكثر تعقيدًا وألمًا، تزداد الحاجة إلى تيسير حوارات واعٍ وحساس للصدمات. ستركّز الدورة على فهم كيفية تأثير الصدمة الجماعية على مسارات الحوار، وستزوّد المشاركين والمشاركات بأدوات عملية ومهارات تيسير لإدارة حوار في ظل واقع من الصراع المستمر.

Amal-Tikva and the Rossing Center are launching their first Trauma-Informed Dialogue Facilitation Course for facilitators working in and across Israeli and Palestinian societies.

As reality in our region becomes increasingly complex and painful, the need for trauma-aware facilitation is more urgent than ever. Our facilitation course focuses on how collective trauma shapes dialogue processes, and equips participants with practical tools and facilitation skills for holding dialogue in the context of ongoing conflict.

Despite the storm outside, the room was packed. The Amal-Tikva ecosystem, full of local leaders, activists, donors and diplomats came together yesterday to practice being the field we are working to become.

At our Annual Summit we shared challenges and honest lessons while pushing each other to ask deeper, tougher questions. We explored partnership models that carry the field and proposed new ones. We focused on what helps organizations work better. We also ate good food and breathed Jerusalem mountain air, to give ourselves a minute to reset.

Why? Because we are needed. Because we are the ones doing this work. Because we need a moment to celebrate our growth and success. And a moment to troubleshoot challenges while pushing each other to keep reaching deeper into our societies and higher up to those in positions of power.

Thank you to our many speakers for your honesty and openness. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come, on a rainy day, to inspire one another. And of course, thank you to our supporters for enabling us to hold this space for the field.

• Innovating through long-term partnerships by combining our strategic consulting offering with ongoing support for our 50+ Fieldbuilding360 alumni organizations
• Investing in tomorrow’s leaders - a record number of highly qualified peacebuilders applied so we doubled the size of our 2026 Emerging Leaders cohort
• Expanding what’s possible through a new Research Lab to test evidence-based peacebuilding approaches that haven’t yet been tried here

Last week to apply! Peacebuilding leaders - apply through Nov 30th.

Ready to invest in your professional development while connecting with other Israeli and Palestinian peacebuilders and social change activists? Sign up until the end of this week for our ATLI Emerging Leaders program 2026 cohort.

This six-month intensive program (January-July 2026) will help you strengthen your professional skills, explore innovative approaches to peacebuilding and social change, and join a regional community of peacebuilders committed to lasting impact.

The program includes twice-monthly interactive workshops and seminars, and an international study tour to Belfast.

👥 Who should apply? Israeli and Palestinian professionals with at least three years of experience in the fields of peacebuilding or social change.
