For over 12 years, the residents of Sderot and surrounding areas have been under persistent attack, enduring the constant threat of Kassam rocket attacks on their home towns, with many of the residents suffering from physical injury and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Ezra Le'Marpeh, under the guidance of its founder and chairman, Rabbi Avraham Elimelech Firer, has resolved to obtain the ne
cessary resources to establish services for ailing residents and victims in Israel's southern region. This is based on the model of the state-of-the-art rehabilitation day center, including hydrotherapy swimming pool, which operates in B'nei Brak. The project has been designed to the highest architectural standards taking into account the special security demands, to ensure the protection of the patients who will undergo treatment within the Center, and who are generally unable to respond in a timely manner to "Red Alerts". Construction is due to commence in January 2013, and is due to become operation by December 2014.
