ספרות לאדינו נחקרת בפולין, ואפילו בשתי אוניברסיטאות. שמענו היום את הרצאת הסיכום של ד''ר מרתה כצפשאק שהייתה אורחת במכון סלטי במשך ארבעה חודשים. מדובר באישיות נעימה שמהר מאוד הפכה לבת בית במכון. אם נאמר לכם שהמפגש היום הסתיים בדמעות, תאמינו? אז כן גם מרתה וגם אנחנו מאוד התרגשנו מהפרידה. בתודה גדולה ל"קרן יהושע סלטי" ולאיזק כהן על תרומתו הנדיבה.

Ladino literature is studied in Poland, even at two universities. On Feb 10 we listened to the concluding lecture of Dr. Marta Kacprzak, who was a guest at the Salti Institute for four months. She is a warm and pleasant person who very quickly became part of everyday life at the Institute. Would you believe us if we told you that today’s meeting ended in tears? Yes, both Marta and all of us were deeply moved by the farewell. Our heartfelt thanks go to the Yehoshua Salti Foundation and to Isaac Cohen for his generous support.
