Keren ADI, named after Adi Agmon, is a non profit, promoting and producing “Dias de Flamenco” in Israel. The events promote flamenco and spanish culture at the request of Adi shortly before she died at the age of 23. Dias De Flamenco takes place annually at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Tel-Aviv, with additional productions in various performing centers in the country. Keren ADI holds an Israeli Fl
amenco Competition, providing the winners with scholarships in Spain and Israel. Many of our winners and contestants continue on to teaching and performing Flamenco world wide. Among our supporters and judges are Cristina Hoyos, Manolo Marin, Paco Ibanez, Baldi Olier, Yosi Banay, Ido Tadmor, and Christina Heeren Flamenco Academy in Sevilla. We are mostly grateful for all the cooperation, help and enthusiasm exhibited by not only guest artist and judges, but by Israeli flamenco dancers and teachers, including: Sylvia Duran, Neta Sheizaf, Sharon Sagui, Michal Natan, Carmel Natan-Shely, Sonya Garcia-Malme, Yael Asaf, Sylvia Barro, Ruty Barnea and more. Keren ADI is regularly reviewed at the Flamenco review newspaper, Alma100. In addition to the festival, performances, guest artists and competition, Keren ADI supports original productions, assists flamenco and Spanish culture musicians and provides semi-annual workshops for dancers in Israel.
