Pitchon Lev

Pitchon Lev We, at Pitchon Lev, work to fulfill our ideology and vision – that there will be no hungry, poor or needy people in the State of Israel.

Since 1998 Pitchon Lev, a non-profit organization, has been at the forefront of raising the plight of the poor to the public agenda in Israel. We have extended a hand, through the friends of Pitchon Lev and a network of volunteers, to support people throughout Israel, irrespective of gender, religious affiliation, race, ethnicity or nationality.

This evening begins Yom HaZikaron. We mourn the young heroes we had the privilege of knowing.

Participants of Program 7, who laughed with us, who dreamed with us, who grew with us. Israelis who gave their lives protecting the people they loved.

They came to Pitchon Lev as children with bright futures ahead of them. We watched them grow. We carry them in our hearts, forever.

To their families, their friends, their brothers in arms: we grieve alongside you. Your loss is our loss. Their memory lives within this entire community.
We will never forget their smiles. We will never forget their courage. We will never forget them.

Remembered. Cherished. Forever in our Hearts.

We are providing far more than food. We are restoring their sense of belonging. We are giving them the strength to carry on. We are showing them they are not forgotten.

Today on Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor Shamir and all survivors who lived through unimaginable darkness. We pledge to never let their stories fade.
