Rishon loves animals is an all-volunteer nonprofit animal welfare organization We do not see euthanasia as an option for animals that are not terminally ill!!

Rishon loves animals is an all-volunteer nonprofit animal welfare organization that aims to end the abuse, neglect, and overpopulation of cats and dogs in our area. We work to achieve our aim in different fronts:

Education – We give lectures in schools and teach children and youth about compassion, respect for all living beings, and the proper way to treat stray animals and pets. Animal rescue - We rescue stray or abused animals, provide medical care for the animals we rescue and find foster and adoptive homes for them. Animal Shelter - We run our own animal shelter for cats

Adoption from the municipal kennel – We hold adoption events every weekend on Friday and Saturday to find a forever home for the dogs in the municipal kennel, where dogs are at danger of being euthanized whether due to overcrowding or because they have a treatable illness. Spaying And Neutering - As the humane solution for the cats and dogs overpopulation problem in Israel. The organization also runs an animal treatment project for youth with special needs.

Green on one side, Sky on the other. ❤️

Two brothers from a litter of five who came to us when they were about six months old.

The other siblings were adopted at different times. Sky was adopted last year, and only Green is still at the kennel, waiting for the right family.

Our Greenie is a real sweetheart with an incredible soul. He’s about 10 years old, but that’s just a number. He’s always smiling, loves cuddles, and is full of love. His heart is as big as he is, and he’s simply looking for a family to share all that love with. 💚🐾

So… if his size doesn’t scare you, and what you see here is a big cuddle buddy with plenty of kisses to give, get in touch and come meet Green.

Help the last dog from this litter finally leave the kennel and find his home. 🙏❤️

Imagine this: it’s a hot day outside, the temperature just keeps rising, and all you can think about is getting home, turning on the air conditioner, putting your feet up, and simply leaving all that heat outside…

Sadly, our cats don’t have that option because they still don’t have homes. So we’re doing everything we can to help them cope with the heat until they find homes where they’ll continue to be cared for 💖

We would be very grateful for donations of portable air coolers, or financial donations so we can purchase them and help our cats get through these hot days.

Meet Milki 😍

She is 8 months old, a mixed breed, house-trained, and gets along with almost everyone (she’s a little less patient with cats).

She is not yet neutered and will only be adopted after being neutered.

Milki is looking for a new loving home ❤️🐾
