Organization objective:

Simply You was founded in 2005 in Israel in order to centralize efforts and solutions for dealing with the global Eating Disorders pandemic. Reduction in the effect of social influences which promote Eating Disorders:
a. Promotion of public knowledge of Eating Disorders and their destructive effects and spread. Legis

lation which provides the public with protection from distortion of the body image perception. Setting the standards for a responsible advertising industry. Promotion of the education of children and youth for healthy and balanced nutrition. Changing the public perception of the beauty model, health and success.

2. Eating Disorder pandemic - prevention, treatment and support:
a. Providing publicly available information. Setting instructions for educational institutions for early diagnosis of the diseases. Support for organizations providing aid. Refferals to mental and body health specialists. Recruitment of donors for hospital departments dealing with Eating Disorders.

3. International activity:
a. Cooperation with similar organizations worldwide. Recruitment of presentors for international media. Worldwide legislation efforts based on the Israeli model. Recruitment of international donors for the foundation of aid centers in Israel. "The number one cause of death for youth aged 15-24 in Israel is Anorexia! "רזית" זו המחמאה הכי גדולה שאישה יכולה לקבל ומידת הבגד זה הדבר הכי אינטימי.
צלם האופנה וסוכן הדוגמניות עדי ברקן:
4 אחוז מהנערות ו-36 אחוז מהנערים שלמים עם מה שהם רואים במראה. האימהות חצי מהזמן מול המראה כשמגפת דימוי הגוף בשיאה ולמערכת אין שום תוכנית מניעה ומעדיפה לא לדבר על זה!

היום? אחוזים בודדים בלבד. 😔
הייתי שם בהתחלה (עם ה'הרואין שיק' של קייט מוס ב-1993), הרשתות החברתיות, הפילטרים והאידיאלים הלא מציאותיים הורסים את דימוי הגוף של הדור הצעיר. נערות מתחילות להתאפר בגיל 11, נמנעות מחשיפה, וסובלות מחרדה – וכשהאמהות מבלות שעות מול המראה עם פילטרים... מה הפלא?
זה לא רק אופנה. זה משבר אמיתי.
