This year at Maccabi XP we got to meet and learn from truly remarkable people!

Pro players, top coaches, Holocaust survivors, noble prize winners, olympians, influencers, Jewish leaders, and more! The knowledge, inspiration and mentors we gained this year were BEYOND imagination!

Thank you to each of you who were part of teaching us, giving to us and making this year simply life changing! 🙌

Capped it off today spending time learning from and playing ball with Doron Scheffer, former UConn star and first Israeli ever drafted in the NBA draft (and a mensch!)!
Learned the importance of faith, balance, and finding true strength from within.

Can’t believe we are saying this, but tonight is our finale from this unbelievable and extraordinary season!

We have come so FAR, our team is rolling and our guys are playing the best basketball of their lives! Gonna hold onto this experience for a while now…when we said “life-changing” WE MEANT IT!

The land of Israel has experiences and people that are just on a different level! We go all in at Maccabi Israel Sports XP, meeting and learning from some of the most incredible and meaningful figures in this special place.

is a living legend, a great ambassador and an inspiration for Israel and the Jewish people.

Taking a year to play basketball in Israel is a path our players have paved for them thanks to Tal.
We learned the power of leaning in to what matters and a whole lot more from our meeting together!

Throughout this year we have brought lessons from Jewish history, and the Holocaust in particular, to life through the game of basketball

👉Met Holocaust survivor, Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, and heard his incredible experiences, from Buchenwald to stories with Tal Brody and Kareem Abdul Jabar

👉Heard from basketball star .grunfeld , about his family’s journey from the Holocaust to the gold medal podium at the Olympics & the NBA

👉Experienced the sacred grounds of Yad Vashem and the unassuming heroes throughout Israeli society with Zikaron Basalon, where survivors across Israel open their homes to the public to share their stories

Israel, basketball and experiences from Jewish history all brought out lessons for us for on the court and for life!

Growing on and off the court, as people and as players, by standing for something bigger and playing for more
