Pesach this year feels a little different, reminding us that the journey isn’t always smooth.

Yet, the story remains the same: no matter the obstacles, we rise. We’ve seen it in our community every day, how we turn every difficulty into a reason to lean on each other and grow stronger as one.

Times are tough in Israel right now, and the weight of the war is felt by us all, especially those who have just arrived.

At Maslool program, feeling safe is our top priority. To give our participants a break from the sirens and stress, we spent a week in Eilat for some sunshine, the pool, and much-needed quiet.

We are doing everything to ensure our Maslool family feels safe, supported, and truly at home, no matter what 💙

There are moments that make us stop everything and remember exactly why we do what we do. Henry Garfinkle’s story is one of those moments.

Henry joined our Maslool program in 2025, coming all the way from Toronto. He came here to experience the real Israel, to dive into the professional market, and to see what life here is truly like. What he didn’t know was that somewhere between the office hours and the lunch breaks, he would fall in love.

Yesterday, in the midst of the war, Henry landed at Ben Gurion Airport as the first new Oleh Chadash since the war began.

When people asked him “Why now?”, his answer was simple: “This is my home from now on. I want to go through this together with all of you.”

Henry, we couldn’t be more proud of you. Seeing a Maslool alum fulfill the Zionist dream, especially during these challenging times, is the greatest reward we could ever ask for.

We wish you the best of luck on your journey.

Had the best time with Yalla Bikes cruising through the streets, parks, and coastline of Tel Aviv 🚲✨☀️🏖️

On this month’s Day Trip we went North to visit the South Golan region ⬆️⬇️, starting by visiting the very historic (dormant) volcano of Tel Saki 🌋. Where a heroic history took place 51 years ago in the Yom Kippur war.

We then tasted some extra virgin olive oil at (what tried their very unique olive exfoliant on the way!) 🫒. And finished the day at the Sachne pools with a very classic Israeli & summery watermelon 🍉💦.

The north is truly full of things to be experienced and discovered!
