He was athletic, a loyal friend, a great brother, and somehow managed to positively influence a wide circle of kids and adults alike. At the age of 18 he decided to study and volunteer in Israel as part of a gap year program. Ezra was tragically killed in a terrorist attack in November 2015, robbing his family, friends and the world of this very special person. As a tribute to his love for basebal
l, and the passion he had for sports and life, Raanana and the Israel Association of Baseball decided to build and name a field in Ezra's memory. This facility will provide great opportunities for Raanana youth to play baseball, soccer and a wide range of sports on a state of the art field. Currently projected to be completed by the Summer of 2021, the field is a fitting tribute to a very special young man.
