Celebrating Rina Fainstein!!!
March is International Women's Month, and we want to spotlight Rina Fainstein, a Gvahim mentor who has an incredible story of resilience, innovation, and leadership.
Rina is originally from Uruguay, where she studied psychology. She later moved to Israel and worked in management consulting and marketing research for over two decades. She then ventured into entrepreneurship, launching a startup with two other founders. However, the startup failed due to multiple issues, leaving Rina disappointed.
Rina did not give up. She embarked on a journey of self-discovery, leveraging her multicultural background and professional expertise to forge a new path. She founded Noga Plus, where she serves as CEO, and became a bridge between Latin American corporations and Israel's innovation ecosystem. She also engages with startup communities as a mentor, judge, and speaker across Israel, Europe, and Latin America.
As a woman, Rina faced many challenges in the startup world, where female representation was sparse and societal norms often leaned towards traditional gender roles. Yet, she remained steadfast in her belief that her gender should neither define her capabilities nor limit her aspirations. She embraced her identity as a woman entrepreneur, viewing it as a source of strength and inspiration.
Today, Rina finds fulfillment in nurturing relationships between corporations and startups, leveraging her experiences to inspire and empower others in their entrepreneurial pursuits. Her journey stands as a demonstration of the profound impact of resilience, self-discovery, and determination in the face of adversity.
We are honored to have Rina Fainstein as a Gvahim mentor, and we hope that her story will inspire you to pursue your dreams and overcome any challenges that may come your way. Join us in celebrating Rina and all the amazing women who are making a difference in the world!
