Day 4 โœ”๏ธ Volunteer X Sword of Iron - Israel Volunteer Corp trip!

We were up so early, on the bus by 6:30am heading to .nir.galim where our group met up with Israelis, Argentinians, and others from around the world to make over 3,000 sandwiches for our chayalim in honor of . His parents came speak to the groups after - it was such a powerful experience ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑโœจ๐Ÿ’—

Day 3 โœ”๏ธ of our Sword of Iron - Israel Volunteer Corp X Birthright Israel Volunteer trip!

We stayed at a stunning hotel in Tiberius, waking up with a breathtaking view and the most delicious breakfast.

We spent the morning visiting the Druze community in the Carmel mountains, learning about the Druze religion, values and culture. They were so hospitable โ€” welcoming us into their home with cookies, fresh bread and tea.

After that, we headed to the in Jerusalem to meet lone soldiers and hear about the challenges they face. We listened to an October 7th story from one of the soldiers and learned how we can directly help.

We closed the day with a very special spontaneous celebration โ€” a Bat Mitzvah for some of the women on our trip!! We shared a beautiful moment together, and up a huge thank you to for officiating and making it happen! โœจ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ

Day 2 โœ”๏ธ of our Sword of Iron - Israel Volunteer Corp X Birthright Israel Volunteer trip!!

We started the day in Kiryot Shmona painting a bomb shelter with for the community. Only 50% of the residents here have returned, and a few people stopped to tell us how much love we were bringing to the community just by being there โค๏ธ

Then we headed to Tsfat to do a tour of the tunnels and see the ancient oven and Mikva they discovered under the land they bought. It was cold, windy and absolutely stunning! Huge thank you to Michael from Livnot for taking us on an impactful tour!

We checked into our hotel in Tiberius and had a phenomenal dinner!! But the highlight of the evening was our impromptu stand-up comedy show with the members of our trip and our introduction circle ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ’—โœจ We have such a wonderful group of people on this trip!

Thank you so much to and for collaborating with us on this trip. Itโ€™s changing peopleโ€™s lives!
